It trades self-healing and AoE damage for straight single-target pain. If you're just trying to hurt stuff at any cost, this is the build to have.

Why would you put points into bloodworms when they could be easily killed with AOEs for example?...And not put points into blood aura to buff the raid? More DPS with the worms?
That's the idea with the build, though most Blood DPS builds I've seen do trade Bloodworms for Blood Aura and Mark of Blood for the raid utility (since Bloodworms don't scale very well, esp. in end-game raiding). But for the absolute most DPS, trading those two talents for the worms would put out more damage, yes.
