also, checking curse.com to see if any mods have come up for Skyrim....... isn't it sad that the first 2 mods added were nude mods? :S jeez, one would think fixing the bugs would be a priority but no, getting free boobs is more important apparently =/

My BF was saying that. He had predicted that the first mods would be to take the clothes off, and he was right. People need more hobbies- lol.

fixed :P as it would seem the modders think that way.
In my opinion, fixing the bugs is the number 1 priority, but ohh well, gotta give it time.

Which is really counter-intuitive, when you think about it. If I was the kind of person for whom it was really important to constantly see boobies, I can't imagine when I'd find time to build game mobs.

I've seen worse.
Probably next is mods that actually create models for...the spots clothes actually cover.

So boobs > Gameplay is new to you?

its not like Skyrim's boobs are that great in the first place. I mean this game is more realistic when it comes to female chest size. Unlike comic books where every other woman has a gigantic rack, on Skyrim, all women have breasts of a really moderate small size.
I should know, my character is a female orc, and while she's pure muscle everywhere, on the chest area, she has a small pair.
then again, its only a matter of time before a mod that changes the models to double-D cups is released........ -.-
Edit: And now a more cheerful topic: I wonder if there is a command console to become a child.
I know that there was one in Fallout 3 and New Vegas (SetPCYoung) that allowed you to make your character into a little 10 year old kid, and while most commands from oblivion and fallout work in skyrim, the kid command doesn't, I've already tried U_U
would be awesome to have a little orc child kicking ass and taking manes.

rankkor, your dragon luck is alarming. I've killed 8 dragons so far, and only one was in a villagewhich hardly counts as that (I don't remember the name, its the one closest to the cave where you go get the horn for the Greybeards.) I just don't understand how all your NPCs manage to die. When I killed the one in the city, it went down pretty fast from me, guards, and citizens all attacking it. Nobody even died except for somebody's goat lol.
Finished the Thieves Guild the other night. Was pretty epic. Strife is definitely my favorite choice.
Has anyone returned it to its former glory for the achievement? What do you need to do? A bunch of jobs?
Also, does anyone else love the random things that you overhear/watch occur when you're out and about? It really adds a stupid amount of immersion when it seems like every NPC is a fully-fleshed out character.

It's actually extremely simple to create nude mods, just a matter of replacing one texture with another. Bug fixes are very, very hard because it's not always evident where the source of the problem is.
Also the best mods can be usually found at

surprisingly, the whole civil war in skyrim with the stormcloaks and the imperial legion is
NOT
a part of the main quest. Indeed you can complete the whole main campaign and vanquish all dragons without ever having to join neither side.
As for you being lost, that's no surprise xD EVERYONE gets fully lost in this game at one point or another, I had to stop playing and think for almost an hour about what to focus on (Eventually decided to complete the Dark Brotherhood questline first) Now I'm doing the campaign, if anything because I want that Dragonrend shout to finnaly bring those suckers out of the sky, and into even grounds.

:P yes I know tesnexus is the better source, I just clicked a link on MMO-champ recomending curse, but meh, I'll wait for TESnexus to upload theirs, because they have a rating system that allows me to tell the good stuff from the crap.
For all the hundreds of thousands of mods released for oblivion, not all of them were good, some were really horrible, and others were pure awesomeness.
and as for the nude mods..... never looked at it from that angle, I guess it is easier to do those than the bug-fixes or the extra items/quests/content.

/sighs...... Bethesda, lord knows I love your games but seriously, why must you release them so buggy? This is why your RPGs will remain inferior to Bioware's at least they know how to release a bugless game (Only exception being Dragon Age 2)
I've had to make extensive use of the console on 3 quests already because bugs keep breaking them and preventing them from being completable.

Open world games are on a completely different level from other games. I challenge you to find an open world game the size of Skyrim that doesn't have bugs. In games like this it's expected so much to the point that people go out of their way to hunt around for interesting bugs in games like gta and just cause.

well, Grand Theft Auto 4 was spotless, though I do have to admit, while that game is massive, its quite small compared to Elder Scrolls in general.........

For me Bethesta will always have the best RPGs of any company. I mean yes the last Fallout was a travesty it had so many bugs. But I have been playing this game almost non stop since it came out and the only bug I have encountered thus far is a guy was swimming through the air after a dragon attack. But nothing thus far that has interfered with my quests.

Falling through the map, taxis driving themselves into a spot they can't get out of, texture popping, rag doll glitches, missions that break, characters dying in the story line but then randomly coming back for side missions, etc.
GTA4 was far from spotless =P

if you're looking for mods. Quite a bit have been added and it's only been out for less than a week.
A few non-nude mods include:
-Detailed Faces
-Enhanced blood
-Enhanced night

Gotta say, my 2 favorite cities are Solitude and Markarth. The former for being a stunning medieval fantasy town with great visuals, and the latter for being Steam-Punk Metropolis in all its glory. Almost like a modern Ulduar =D
