Also, if you want in, create a Horde on PvP Stormreaver, and /who "Wowhead or Bust". Whisper a member and they'll get you invited in.

yeaaah so
I started playing my lock, asked if there were any bags available for lowbies and someone said there's a bunch in the bank. I check the guild bank and there are about ten 8 slotters, but I was the lowest grank and couldn't get them. So I asked if I could get a promo or how that's done and we all joke a little in gchat about it's random, you have to beg, bribery works blah blah. I crack a joke about how awesome my name is and I should be promoted on that merit.
Anyway, while I'm doing this I'm spamming wts peacebloom x6! and some bank alt has pity on me and gives me 10g. I use that g to buy some bags and announce in gchat I don't need the promo any more. Then someone is looking for charter sigs and paying 3g so I say I'll brb gotta sign a charter and gquit. Got the payment, quit the newly formed guild, and now wowhead or bust won't invite me back, no one in the guild will respond except one level 6 priest who informs me that they all think I'm a bank ninja.
Dude wtf. I really don't care, was just spending some time trying to hit level 10 on an alt and go from there but really? Are you guys that uptight?
TLDR version: it might be wowhead users, but a guild is still a guild. Fun idea, based on this experience though I don't see it getting very far.

well sorry it appeared that way, but we've had a bit of trouble with people wanting to ninja the bank lately, so we've been a bit on the suspicious side of new people who continually ask for bank access...then you suddenly quit with no explanation as to why, right after we say no to promoting you...can you see now why no one wanted to re-add you?

That's exactly the attitude I'm talking about. I asked for a bag, they told me to get one from the bank, I said I can't, can you help me out? So to buy my own bags I gquit to sign a charter, informed everyone what I was doing, now blacklisted.
Sounds like a bunch of elite pricks to me but good luck to ya. I'm not losing sleep over it, just pointing out the hypocrisy of 30+ pages of welcome every wowhead user yay for us best guild ever so friendly bs and then this is how they treat peeps.
umm you could have asked one of us to get the bags for you....besides that's sound reasoning, no guild under any circumstance would let someone who randomly gquits right back in without an explanation...and no one said "get one from the bank" you said "can I take some from the bank" that different...

Its true we have been having problems with people trying to ninja our bank so we like to be careful to whom we trust and promote. We like to get to know a person and observe their actions before we promote someone as I believe most guilds do.
Although you might have not been happy with the experience of our guild I assure those that read this that we are far from being
elitist jerks
. I for one am still learning a class that I have never done before and my guild mates are happy to help me out.
I continue to encourage others to join despite the opinion that has been shown. I know not everyone will like it but the majority that have come do and continue to come back. We are not asking you to stay but rather to come and try the idea out and if you like it we hope to see more of you.

We have over 103 members now, sow roll whatever lol (though we have very little rogues and warriors as far as I can see)
