Character:
Miter Brighthammer, Sybil Duir
Location:
New Hearthglen
Hooves clopped as they passed into the wintery landscape. The snow was not high, nor the wind so fierce as before, but it was still strong enough to send the snow swirling and obliterate their tracks mere moments after they made them.
Miter led the way into the bony forest across the road. Trees grew sparse and their limbs were barren and jagged. Their branches rattled against one another when the wind pushed them together. The grey sky was, as ever, uninviting, and the horizon was masked in a veil of white, as if the forest was all that existed in the world.
"The Crusade has an outpost on the route," Miter informed Evlyn. "We shall rest there. Faith may carry us as far as need be, but the horses will need rest. And, we will be able to recruit additional men to our cause."
Character:
Granda Lusgrave, Vespa Dawnless
Location:
Borean Tundra
Granda waved Nustal to the side of the entrance into the chamber. "Who goes there!" she shouted, her voice echoing as if undeath as it traveled down the tunnel.

Character
: Tharvulius Harrison
Location
: Valiance Keep
Tharvulius followed after and quickly found himself a short distance from a kvaldir. He stared it down, no sign of the usual humor in his face. He dismounted his pony, quickly discarding the robe he wore. Underneath was a well fitting leather vest with a tailored shirt beneath that. Glass vials filled with various liquids lined the vest.
The kvaldir seemed to laugh at the small man and causally strode forward, expecting an easy kill. Tharvulius drew a curved blade from the saddle and waited for the giant to come within range. The moment it did he lashed out with his sword, removing the creatures arms. A second stroke removed the head, the body dissolving into seaweed and water.
"I never said I was a good mage." Tharvulius told the puddle on the ground.

"Yes, sir", Linder replied, still warily. She wondered why no more crusaders had come with them from New Hearthglen, and could not help but wonder if the same thing would apply at the next stop.

"Indeed it does," Miter said. "But though we may fear, we must conquer it! The Scourge cannot conquer fear. They are simply mindless slaves. But we have will. We can.
"But there is one fear we must always keep in mind," he said with a hard look at the raven priest. "And that is we die with our work not yet done."

Karan the Everhungering
Borean Tundra
The man pondered the question for a moment.
- "Karan of Naxxramas, third lieutenant to Lady Blaumeux", he answered with a firm voice. "Identify yourself".
He gestured the ghouls to form a protective barrier between himself and the voice.

She lowered her dagger slightly. "Granda Lusgrave. Necromancer of the Scourge, servant of Cyangros of the fallen ziggurat Draxxmas."

The death knight walked towards the voice, the ghouls still forming a half cirlce infront of him and the acolyte following a few steps behind him.
- "I was under the impression that Draxxmas was considered lost"
This is most interesting
The group reached the entrance of the hall and Karan caught a feint glimpse of figures not too far from them. Without a word or a visible signal the ghouls stopped as the man stopped to evaluate his possible opponents.

Nustal watched the new arrivals with a look of suspicion. The Darkfallen remained tense, looking ready to defend Granda at any moment.

"Only the guilty need fear that, Evlyn," Miter told her. "We are shielded from such by righteousness. Our cause is just, so, therefore, are we. It is only the Scourge which would curse us to a life of misery unending. Of servitude to its dark master. That, and a hundred reasons more, is why we must strive against it," Miter said, his voice ringing with truth. "That is why we must use any means to destroy it."

:
Ithalwen Azureweaver
Location
: Valiance Keep
The spellblade rode until there was a agreeable line of sight to one of the attackers. And in the blink of a eye and flash of light, Ithalwen had moved from here to there in a teleportation.
She wasted no time when she reappeared next to the over sized human with clothing of naval animals and plants. She strike with a arcane powered swing of her blade. Leaving a trail of magic in a rought shape of a moon, cutting into kvaldir flesh. With nimble dodge the elf dodged the attacks from the warrior of the sea, whilst she made two more attacks.
From her three attacks she had three charges of arcane, power she released in a arcane nova. finishing the savage pirate in a circular wave of magic, the creature vanished into water and seaweed. For that she raised a eyebrow.

Character:
Balrick Brighthammer
Location:
Valiance Keep
Several Kvaldir closed about the mass of fallen horse and tangled seaweed. One reached there first and reached forward to grab the tangled green which obscured the death knight.
Balrick jerked up, his sword plunging to the hilt in the giant's stomach. The death knight snarled and rippled the blade upward, cutting the monstrous reaver from belly to neck.
"Ugh! Pth!" Balrick spat as the warrior dissolved to seaweed and salt water, further draping him in its mass. He held out his arms, looking more like some monster from beneath the waves than the four green giants who still surrounded him. The death knight brandished his blade, handle nearly slipping from his water wetted grip as he stepped protectively before his horse.
"Well!" Balrick snapped. "Come on then! Who's next?"
With a roar all four closed on the death knight with whirling steel.

- "I see. Are you or this Cyangros responsible for the release of a notable amount of magical energy that happened not too long ago in this area?"
Three visible, possibly more hidden. Karan wondered if he was being told the truth at this moment. Had he walked into something bigger than expected?
