Killed Curator 16 times before I won the gloves. A tank friend cleared HMgT every day for 2 months before the trinket he wanted dropped. Its the nature of PvE. Why do you keep going? Because it could be yours tomorrow.

Same thing happened with me and the Pauldrons of Wild Magic. My main spec for the longest was Elemental, and I tried like crazy to get these shoulders. The only time they would drop was when I was resto, and I'd get outrolled (or forced to select Greed). It drove me nuts, but it's just something that you have to accept.

He's venting and wondering if anyone has ever experienced something like that happen. Clearly, lots of people have. So he should now probably feel a little bit better. That's the point.

I've had the same bad luck with heroic nexus trying to get the healing mace. I have seen enough plate belts to last a lifetime but I haven't seen the mace drop once. Meanwhile almost every healer I see in Dalaran has it and everyone tells me how often it gets greeded or disenchanted.
