Question bout +spell dmg for balance

How much +spell dmg is needed for kara and heroics for a balance druid? My guild wants a boomkin after I've went and got all sorts of gear for tanking and resto T.T

You should be able to start well with let's say around 700 +dmg. For Karazhan you also need to build up your +hit however, which you don't need at all in heroics.

(not sure if those questions really have an answer though, you can do fine at less or bad at more depending on your gameplay and group...)

Don't try to purposefully go for a crit level. Crit comes with better gear, your main priorities are hit and dmg. (obviously, +20 crit is better than +3dmg, but don't get hung up on reaching a certain crit level).

you mean s3 right? when s1 was available for purchase thru honor? or do you mean the recent honor-attaining methods of 2.4?
