Question about 2.4 changes for ret pallies...

I'm working on getting my ret pally (lvl 70) gladiators scaled gear at the moment, and I was wondering about the changes in 2.4 to ret pally pvp gear.
Specifically, do changes to pvp gear stats apply retroactively to gear you've already got and are using? If so, then I'll go ahead and get them piece by piece but if not then obviously it makes more sense to wait until 2.4 comes out, otherwise all your gear is wasted.
Makes sense to me that changes would apply retroactively but I wanted to make sure - I couldn't find detail on this in anywhere that I looked.

If you mean like you get a piece before 2.4 will it be changed after 2.4 goes live. Then it would be a yes.
