I'm leveling to 70 and getting my S1 Stuff as I go... not too hard. Just take advantage of the Battleground Weekends (this week is WSG I believe) and accumulate enough honor to get the pieces. Make sure you buy exactly what's best for you (i.e. as a holy pally you don't want to buy the prot gear by accident) because you can't vendor it back.
Best of luck, and yes it may seem like a lot of honor but keep working!
