rets fun for pvp, no wait thats a lie lemme restate myself, ret is VERY fun in pvp

ever get in the mix with friends that want you to be holy? but you choose ret. and they get @#$%ed off??

sometimes, i think about transferring out of my server to be alone with my precious.... ret...

LOL, I'm holy working on ret gear soon. You can heal with a ret pali, just not as mana efficient as a holy pali. I know a prot pali that heals heroics all the time. You just need the gear for it. Holy if fun for pvp also. Nothing makes me happier then seeing 5 horde after me and they can't seem to get me past half hp.... ever..... LOL! Just a pain in the ass to kill anything, and nearly impossible to kill anything that can heal....

You have to out gear, or equally gear a toon.. If you are ret, you can repentance if they are far away, crack em with a crusader strike, HoJ, and nuke em. If they try to wing clip you or use anything to slow you down, BoF is always good, and try to use JoJ, drops their run away speed in half. Basically any clothie should be meat for a melee dps. You can take a rogue of your gear level too, possibly even a bit more. Ret palis can take most classed as long as you make sure you stay on top of em with JoJ and BoF, and don't be afraid to use bubble if they stun you just in time to try to save themselves.

Spell DMG is pretty worthless for a Ret spec now. It increases the DMG on SoC and JoC but the actual amount is pretty small since the latter's an instant cast. Go Strength and AP because both of these increase the DMG of your auto-attacks, Crusader Strike, and SoC. Honestly, Spell DMG isn't worth it for a 10 (8 with talent) s cooldown ability. I see a lot of Paladins go Ret/Prot as well, but if you wanna go Ret/Holy for PvP, I think you'll be okay as long as your equipment has Intelligence on it.

For God's sake...how many people are going to ask these dumb questions? If you have a GENERIC QUESTION, PLEASE LOOK at the forums before you waste our time! There's about 100+ PvP Pally topics. Do your work before making us waste our time to answer your simple question.

What's the point of ranting and lecturing him? If you had the time to write this, you also had the time to give him some relevant feedback. If all you're going to do is cry, please move on to Thottbot.
