PvP Gear over PvE gear for PvE

So I use a couple templates that tell me to use my PVP gear over my PvE gear while instancing.
I am in SSC and TK and I am currently working on Vashj. Should I be using my vengeful gear over my T5 gear if the template says the point value is higher?
I don't know - for instance Deathblow Goggles over Vengeful Helm?
Vengeful Chest over Bloodsea Brigand's Vest?
What do you think?

Certainly not. Use one of the spreadsheets on EJ (you can find both of them in the compendium here on Wowhead). Gem and enchant your PVE gear properly and it'll outstrip your PVP gear by a ways.
