Be worth going Dreanei for the racial self heal with the new blood nerf.
And I thought the DS heal was at 30% not 25% (before the nerf that is)?

Wow thats just crappy...I loved my self heals, it's one of the things that made me love DKs in the first place, and it has been endlessly nerfed to oblivion, while warriors have become the new DK in self heal terms...ugh...though the rune tap thing was nice though, works better than the reset blood rune. (which on many occasions I used for a heart strike w/o knowing :p)

Yeah same here. There's no decent WoTN tracking without using PowerAuras so I keep accidentally using WoTN's Blood Rune on something random.

Blood Strike damage is increased by 12.5% for each of your diseases on the target, up from 10%.
Heart Strike now deals 120% weapon damage, up from 100%.
Blood Boil base damage increased by 20%, from 297 to 357.
Don't really understand why Blizzard thought these changes were needed. DPS from Blood tanks was a little low I suppose, but we had no real threat problems; I'm starting to wonder if Blizzard is trying to make Blood more attractive for leveling.

Death Strike now heals for 15% of the damage sustained, down from 25%.
I don't think
anyone
considered Death Strike to be too powerful (especially after it was nerfed over and over again). GC mentioned that he wanted to make it less useless for DPS; now it's almost useless for tanks as well.

Icebound Fortitude now breaks stuns when used, in addition to providing immunity to them.
Might of the Frozen Wastes now also increases all melee damage by 4/8/12% while wielding a two-handed weapon.
Killing Machine no longer affects Icy Touch.
Very good changes here, although I wonder if the new MotFW is a bit too powerful.

Runic Corruption procs while the aura is already active now add 3 seconds to the existing aura duration, instead of simply refreshing/overwriting the existing aura.
Scourge Strike now deals an additional 18% Physical damage done as Shadow Damage for each disease on your target. Up from 12%.
Unholy Might now increases your Strength by 5%, down from 10%.
Necrotic Strike's absorption effect is now reduced by the target's resilience.
Desecration now also affects Necrotic Strikes.
All fair changes here. Interesting to see how much of an impact the Unholy Might nerf will have, but it was certainly justified.
