Any two gathering professions (mining, skinning, herbalism) will make you money. Which two will make the most money depends on your servers' economy.

My 67 lvl DK is tauren, and i took herbalism to take advantage of their racial bonus for a quick start on it. For the other one I took skinning, as its fast and easy to do as I level the herbs and I like the crit bonus it gives. Taking both should provide me with a quick cashflow while I level. After about 7days (real time, not play time) of leveling both to nearly 425, i'm 1500g richer. Which is pretty good, I think, and enough to get me moving up. After hitting 80 I might switch to something else, we'll see. Hopefully the income will be enough to pay for epic flight without to much pain.

Well, I made a death knight... I have the proffesions.... Skinning/Herbalism are these good proffesions for making gold? My proffesions aren't high right now but i'm increasing them pretty quickly.
this has nothing to do with being a death knight....
Good thing this is in the Professions Forum then. Just because he mentioned that he made a DK, doesn't mean that was the focus of his topic.

my lvl 69 dk has 417 mining and 370jc
mining i get ores for money and gems and toughness buff +500 health
jc big money on my server plus bop gems jc can make for them selfs
btw i am going to be tank dk
i thought DK will not get the buffs from professions?
No, we don't get buffs *to* professions. Meaning we start at 0 and it's not powerleveled for us. Aside from First Aid but that's h4x.
