Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that ALL 6 of the instances with the new bosses *excluding karazhan. Thats a raid :D* are closer, or VERY close to the horde cities?: Strat/Scholo (Close to UC/SMC), Dire Maul (Much closer to org/TB than darn/ex), RFD (Barrens is right next to TB/Org), SM (Tirisfal glades... Same zone as UC), and SFK (Very close to UC). It may be just me, and I know it isn't that big of a deal, but jeez Blizzard, make some of these bosses in instances closer to Alliance cities too =/ (Like Gnomer, BRD, or something like that)
Thank you for your time listening to my stupid and pointless rant, as I am lv 70 :D

PS: Also, when you summon a Shadow of Doom thing which uses 8 runes, if you die, and your party dies, I think the monsters should still be tapped for your group. I summoned 3 of them and my other member summoned 1. We all died, and I lost 24 runes, and my friend lost 8. It was !@#$ing lame.

Back in the "GOOD OL' DAYS" Alliance had a MUCH more favorable position, they were located one zone north of MC and BWL and a short ride away from Onyxia.
It's a fair trade!
Specifically why I said
"Thank you for your time listening to my stupid and pointless rant, as I am lv 70 :D"
So I'm not QQing or nothing. just a fun little rant as I wait for my lunch bell to ring... High school is evil when you are a senior... I'm in English atm and it's all computerized... Nothing else to do but talk on Wowhead :P lol.
EDIT: Lol I just changed my signature to reflect that my main is Pewpewblast, however it didn't change /sigh
EDIT 2: Rofl, NOW it changes on me :D well whatever... Waiting for responses and stuff as I do my current English assignment... I just love how everything in this class is
opinion based.
You really can't get anything below a B. :D Well I'm getting off topic, so I'll just stop typing now ^_^

Strath
Theres the whole 'dstrath meaning Dead strath...Undead there in the first place makes sense for a new boss
Scholo
Well A great deal of mobs here are scourgey/undead type anyway so a new boss here makes sense
Dire Maul
Theres not that many undead here but theres definetly undead forces nonetheless
RFD
Half the instance including the last boss is undead/scourgey
SM
Graveyard (for obvious reasons) is full of undead
SFK
Haunted by ghosts/scourgey beings
The pattern im seeing here is that the instances that have some sort of udnead force or dwelling in them are the instances blizzard places 'haunted'/undead bosses in for hallows end

Ok, I get that people don't like this. It gets in the way of every day life, makes things impossible to do, and you can't ever be completely sure you are safe. (My last zombie SW took refuge in the top of the inn, which surprised quite a few people who when running there to avoid the other raid.)
But honestly, think back to the last time the scourge attacked. I know I'm not the only one who has done the whole Darrowshire quest line. Even Andorhal. When the scourge attack, every day life is put on hold. Fortifications must be built, healers must be prepared, and all out war breaks loose.
But jsut be glad that no matter what happens, we(both alliance and horde) are the winning side. The scourge will be defeated, even if they are to return with Putress in Northrend, and life will resume although slightly altered. Our cities won't be left in ruins, we won't all be dead, and the world will not end.
So for the time being, let go of your normal tasks and just have fun.... As someone's said before, Blizz most likely made this even so people would lighten up a bit. It's also been said its becoming the World of Casualcraft, and what better way to make things open for all than to have a world event where everyone is equal?
But that's just me. Feel free to hate on it or what ever, I'll get back to you in a few days when attempting to infect the SW king isn't fun anymore.
Edit : Doing more reading.
... the ways I found to get it back are to put the momento in the bank and take it back out...
Also, when I give the momento to a banker, they will occasionally disappear. I grab it from one of the others and give it to them, but nothing happens. Seems it's limited to one disappearing per person. And also it doesn't seem to affect others, that the banker is still there I just can't see him.

a great place to infect people in undercity is the zepplin tower. Its a winding staircase so u retch on the stairs wait a bit higher up <Tab> target people, they move more slowly because they have to go through the retch to get up the stairs then u mangle them when theyr each you.
=] Fun Times

Never before have I been able to use /violin so much. The people complaining of
being ganked by zombies
zombies ganked by players
healers cleansing the infected
zombies killing NPCs
and every other possible
reason to whine
combination are likely to be the exact same people who moan when Blizzard DOESN'T do a world event. Keep this in mind - it's a once in a lifetime world event and you are moaning because it's getting in the way of levelling your 10th alt on the realm? Bored of gankers? Goto a PvE realm. Don't like zombies swarming you? Learn to adapt, stay clear of population centres unless necessary and keep your wits about you - team up with other like-minded people.
Embrace this as an opportunity to do something different because you will NOT get the chance like this again. Have fun while it lasts .
Now, stop the pointless ranting here - Blizz are not going to read this post on wowhead and realise "hang on, Faceless Nub #99 on wowhead isn't having fun, best change the event". Get stuck in there, fight the zombie hordes tooth and nail and when you eventually succumb and turn into a zombie, go after the living with the same zeal with which you purged the zombies!
One final point. I can't believe, for a moment, that a coordinated group of people would zombie camp a settlement for "HOURS". Actually, that's not what I can't believe - I can't quite understand why someone who has been repeatedly killed in the same place for "hours" didn't decide to avoid that place after the first few times they died! Who is the fool - the "fun spoiling zombies" or the idiot who keeps running back into them.... ><
This guy sums it all up in a nutshell.
We've been playing this game for years. All that time he's been sitting up there on his throne. Did you think he was playing Solitaire? No, he's been planning his attack. Now that attack is in full swing and it's everywhere.
Personally I look at it like this. All towns are war zones, and I mean on my realm ALLLLLL towns. Area 52 down to Thorium Point. We are the hero's of our respective factions. We make the differnce in the world. If you have to go to the towns for any reason, fight with all you have, get in get out. If you should succumb to the plague, join the scourge and roll with it.
The other day i fought zombies for 3 hours in stormwind. When I finally got turned I joined a group who held the mage tower and infected all who came through the gate spreading the plague through the whole mage quarter until a brave group of paladins and priests routed us. This isn't going to last forever, stay on the move and keep sharp. Zombies are mostly slow unless they lurch so stay outta range and keep your snares up (player zombies can be feared, trust me I know so interrupt explosions with howl or coil) band together with other people with cures or other zombies who keep up purge for heals.
The only thing I dont agree with is camping low lvl people and I agree that bankers, auctioneers, battlemasters, and flightmasters should be immune. The only suseptable (sp) people should be gaurds, vendors, and random city people who aren't essential to the game. Remember that as a Zombie your supposed to mostly be a mindless killing machine not standing over a poor lvl 15 person who cant really defend themselves for hours on end. Kill them and move on.
Go to your nearest bookstore, get a copy of The Zombie Survival Guide and use the strategies where applicable lol. Some of them actually do apply. We're in for at least three weeks of this and it will only get worse. Strap in and enjoy it.

...Or failing to reach your nearest book store, try making it to your nearest DVD store and rent out
Shaun of the Dead
It would be at least equally as helpful if not more.

This is my viewpoint. Personally, I don't often play as a zombie, because I've been working on getting my last couple of Hallow's End achievements, in addition to the other invasion stuff (nice plate chest and the tabard, specifically).
Now yes, there are lowbies who don't have high levels, and yes this must suck for them. All I have to say to that is, you just walked into more or less the most Epic wow has ever been. While you can't do much against most zombies, it is indeed possible to wreak havoc as as low as level five or six in a capital city if another zombie can keep aggro on the NPC's. Every hit counts when infecting, and look at it this way; SOMEBODY is going to have to be the initial zombie that gets hacked in twain. Take a crusader strike for the team, rez up, and enjoy the second coming of WoW.
