Hi.

I was wondering if there was a way to display a WoWHead tooltip on a phpBB3 forum that would show character information ?
Something like class, level, spec, and more ?
I'm pretty sure it's not possible at all to display the 3D flash thingy to actually see the character, but you know... I'm asking. ^^

To change the white (common) links color on a white background, add this right before </head>
<style type="text/css">.content .q1{color:#666!important;}</style>

You can change the color (#666) to whatever you like. Hope this helps.

Hello folks.

I just found that using power.js tooltips on my site, even if I change the address from www.wowhead.com or wod.wowhead.com to it.wowhead.com, the tooltip still showing with English description than Italian.

The phpbb version does not appear to work working with the new tooltips where items are upgraded and there is a bonus.

What's the current best method for integrating wowhead tooltips into Simple Machines Forum (SMF) BBCode?

I was using the wowhead-tooltips package created by wowhead user Lockslap but it hasn't been updated in ages.

hi, everyone.
we have a problem with renamed links:

code is working, but we're russian players and we use russian links.
Is it possible to rename links in Russian ?

Has anyone figured out how to get the new item lookup (with bonuses) to work with phpBB3 as well as the now-old EQ DKP?

Example: Throat-Ripper Gauntlets&bonus=567 comes up as item level 655 on our forum and our EQ DKP installation.

Same issue here! i use phpbb 3.1 and tooltips return no response from server. other tooltips i have tested all worked but not the ones coming from wowhead

Someone has found a solution for this?

Hey folks.

Are there attributes for either of the following:

Display a tier piece tooltip with details only relevant to one spec? For example, Oathclaw Vestment but only showing stats and bonuses for Balance.
Change the race and sex of the model used in the transmog preview tooltip? For example, applying Oathclaw Wargarb (Normal Recolor) as the link reference displays a human female. What about tauren male, for instance?

I just recently released a new WordPress plugin version of item tooltips. So far it's just an initial release to support english tooltips using either shortcodes or hardlinks. Will be updating it to be more feature rich as time allows. https://wordpress.org/plugins/wowpress/

I just found out that my vBulletin forums are not showing item icons before the name anymore. vBulletin is running on the latest version 4.2.3, all other plugins are up-to-date. Do you have an idea how to fix this issue?

I've been struggling to get this implemented properly... it was just the gems properties that weren't coming up properly... ("+0 mastery" for example on gems=127762).

I see that it's not just me... wowhead has the same problems... check it out... Immaculate Mastery Taladite... That seems to be coming right from the db, because even if you click right through to the gem's page, you see it right there... +0 mastery!

Now I see that there is a slider on that page, and if you move the slider, it will start changing the mastery bonus. When you first get to the page, it's +0, with the slider all the way to the right. if you move it and then bring it back to the far right, it will correctly display +75 mastery.

I'm not sure if this is working as intended... it makes it pretty hard to add those gems parameters into the link, and I don't even want to start thinking about recursive "levels"... i.e. my timewalking weapon has a different level, but the gem IN that timewalking weapon has a different level still... ugh my brain hurts.

Can somebody straighten me out?

To anybody who's run into this, you (and I) forgot to put the "lvl=" into the tooltip. If you include that character level, the gems work out just fine.

Hey guys, hopefully someone notices these questions:

1) How do I add an space before the icons? Right now if I have text before the wowhead link with icons, it immediately puts the icon next to the previous text which causes it to look very awkward.

2) Anyone know how to properly make a xenforo bbcode so I don't have to manually link each wowhead item everytime?

Hello folks.

I have an issue.

I'm using tooltip on a WordPress blog with a premium theme. But my theme is overriding somethings in tooltip so links not colorizing plus tooltip background becomes black not semi-transparent.

How can I make tooltip priority over anything else?
