Popup ad

This is popping up now and then, it plays sound and presents itself in the background, which is really annoying.

I know that Wowhead doesn't allow advertisers to use sound in their ads, and popups are very rare, if they exist at all. Do you get it on any other sites? Is there any pattern to the times it pops up?

I have also started getting those popups on this site. I also get some other "pop ups" that loads in the current window/tab, and just covers the wowhead page.

No popups on other sites. Strange thing is, i'm also in norway.

I've sent a message to the feedback mail here.

When you get an ad that does stuff like that you should follow the instructions on http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=142&p=1312 to report it.

probably not, since the pop ups here stopped as soon as i started using *noscript* 3 days ago.

So the pop ups seems to be from here.

And might as well "reveal" what fewyn said in the answer i got yesterday on my mail to them.

"Currently outside of the U.S. users may receive a maximum of one pop up per day. If you have any other issues regarding ads please read http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=142&p=1312 which will tell you how to report ads."

i'm sorry wowhead. I've been happy so long to have this site whitelisted in my adblock, just too make you happy.
But popups are a big no no in my book. they are annoying, and atleast the one we here in norway get, has sound when it comes.
So this pretty much forced me to use noscript on this site. this unfortunatly means blocking all the other ads aswell... But if you can remove the popups, noscript will go away, and the small bit of money the ads my visits generate will be back.

*edit* added noscript to one of my sentences, so that it made sense...

I'm also getting a sort of pop-up. It's just a blank, seperate window, though. It happens every time I visit this site, and this has occured for a few weeks now. If I close it, it will usually re-appear while browsing wowhead.

Don't know if it means anything, but I'm also from Norway.

Btw, I doubt it's a spyware issue. Neither Spybot Search & Destroy nor SUPERAnitSpyware found anything on my system.

Edit:
25 days later, and this issue still remains.
