I HATE mists of pandoria with a passion because it simply has no place in WoW. The World of Warcraft we all fell in love with was based on MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN mythology and history. Orcs, dwarfs, trolls, elves, etc.are all products of European mythology.
I dont want this beautiful world to be changed for anyone
Um yeah...except for the Japanese influences in the Night Elves, the Aztec/Mayan ones for the Trolls, the Native American ones for the Tauren; yup yup, nothing but medieval Europe there /roll eyes

Yes there are non European influences on these races. I never said otherwise. But there is a BIG difference between having non European influences on races derived from European mythology and add an entirely non-Medieval European inspired race and civilization. That is pushing too far
Either way I am not a fan of these mayan and native american influences. They have always been something that soured the game for me. But I tolerated it because the game is still incredible.
And shockingly.....The Game is still Incredible! In fact with the addition of the features in Mists of Pandaria, the game is at it's best point, surpassing the other expansions. Though really; if you hate Mists so much, you must have hated BC even more, what with the whole Outer Space angle.
Edit: Also, for ^&*!s and giggles; real medieval Europe: No magic, everyone dirty, only the incredibly rich could afford mounts, no technology, a wide variety of races running around with a mixture that left barely anyone actually white.
Warcraft Medieval: Well there's spaceships, steam tanks, small scale mechs, magic out the wazoo, monsters, demons, beings who could be angels, huge ass dragons...about the only thing it has in common with medieval Europe is the fact that the humans come in all shapes and colours lol.
Seriously, if that's what you are basing your hate on, you don't have a leg to stand on.

But regardless, WoW had to have a strong Medieval European theme. And I am seeing this waste away and it is a true shame.
I dont have to be bloody PC when it comes to mmoprg. I was a WoW fan since the very beginning and I liked it because it created a heavily fantastical versiohn of Medieval Europe. But shamefully expansions like MoP are killing the original essence of WoW.Horse crap; as said, the Night Elves have already had Asian architecture, the Tauren are Native American and the Trolls are Central South; this isn't new. And really, it's been this way for a long while: You only found medieval Europe style in two places in Vanilla: Undercity and Stormwind. Ironforge was steam punk after all. BC you had a city made out of a Space Ship; did you hate that? And the Blood Elves have a city that would be a part of Vegas, with the giant robots, floating orbs and huge statues of Kael. Wrath was invasion of the Vikings; not much to do with Medieval Europe there. Cata had the Egyptian themes; shocking aint it when a game evolves?
I love Pandaria; I've always been Asianphile so this is just plain awesome to me. I still love the rest of the World of Warcraft...but uh, hey big guy: Just don't upgrade to Pandaria if you truly hate it this much, or maybe it's time to quick.

First of all, if you are going to argue with me show some bloody respect. I will not waste my time arguing with someone ill mannered.Sorry but no; you have to earn that respect young grasshopper and the way you opened up here in the thread doesn't actually say you deserve it yet.
It is very debatable if night elf architecture is Asian. I never found it to be Asian. It is uniquely ofantastical architecture with no specific cultural influence.Well besides the large scale temples, the warrior caste protecting the lands while the priest caste rules it, and the architecture that isn't large trees.
And Trolls CLEARLY come Viking mythology not South American mythology. Yes they did borrow certain aspects from Central/South America but the overall identity of the Troll race is indeed of Medieval/Dark Age European origin. Say what? So the massive Troll temples of the Jungle and Forest, the reed huts, the worshiping of the Loa and other ancient spirits, including summoning in a Blood God....that's Viking based?
I am not just singling out ridiculous pandoria.No one is asking you to; but when it comes to an expansion which has breathed new life into the game, and the reason you hate it is because 'it's Asian' is just incredibly silly sounding to me.

And that Grasshopper is your choice; but it's still incredibly silly to dislike an expansion solely based on the visuals. The Story telling of MoP is light years ahead of what the game used to be; they took the over all arc of Wrath and mixed it in with the assistants from Cata and unlike the horrible Harrison Jones quest line, it works this time around.
But then again, as you say the 'Mayan and Native American sources soured the game for you' lets be honest, you just want a reason to complain about the game.

I am a big fan of World of Warcraft, I hate the daily aspect but only because I work and dont have the time to grind out the dailies. Yes Im an altoholic when I play which makes things way too time consuming trying to keep up. Ive only been able to do one toon since MoP came out :( I like MoP scenery, I dont take much time to read the Lore, Im normally rushing to get done what Im doing, I havent got into the Lore on any expansion. I mostly like running dungeons, and raiding. I would welcome back the faction tabard's for rep but I am a minority compared to the Millions... And Millions of people that have the time to do the dailies =), I hope next expansion takes some of the time consuming dailies away but I always hope for the best and expect the worse =P

After all these months, here's what I think:
Monks, Pandas, Pandaren, the Black Market Auction House, and all the other highlights of this expansion bore me. I've given them all a shot, and they just don't offer anything that I find interesting. Grinding raids at level 90 isn't any more interesting than grinding raids at level 85, the Panda starting zone sucks, virmen and hozen are annoying, BMAH is nothing but a dozen Fight Club invites and 2 or 3 garbage items, some of the zones are too large and drag on for too long, etc... in short, if I were to create a second account, I'd only get the battle chest and
maybe
Cat.
5.x, however, is a vast improvement over 4.x, especially with the pet battles. I also look forward to Vol'Jin being the new warchief.
Overall, it's... okay.

MoP in short is the most boring expansion to date.
Total ingame time played? 32 days. This is lower than even in Cata, and my main is nearing the 1 year total play time.
Simply tired of the gating and the boredom it causes, and log off.
When I'm posting more than playing the game..."Houston, we have a problem...".

The content is graphically designed impressive. But it's not as original, competitive and joyful as previous expansions. Also I'm really against a character being a panda or pandaren, whatever. It just feels wrong, really. Perhaps if they are not panda but pandaren they could have been designed bit more different than a panda which has the features of a human. Also they are disturbingly fat. In addition, not to mention how badly pvp has been ruined. Wow had the best pvp among all other mmorpgs yet nowadays the loss of resillience makes no sense for serious pvpers to put effort in improving their gears.
