I personally dislike the Mists of Pandaria. I really didn't enjoy Cataclysm either. But WoW is still the best MMORPG out there, even though I'm not a fan of these new expansions.

I'm enjoying it, though I think I can see why people might not like it (quest design is blatantly generic and predictable in places, daily grindfest, etc)

I unsubbed because of all this
kung fu panda
nonsense.
Nuff said.
You'd think so, but you keep coming back to say it again and again. The definition of the phrase "enough said," is that after speaking those words, you no longer need to keep talking about the subject. I'm not sure you're using them correctly.

i honestly wasn't going to purchase the expansion. i was completely and totally bored with WoW in Cata. i had moved on and hadn't played in probably over 6 months. my girlfriend had continued to play sporadically. so, we got her the xpac, and figured why not get me one too. and i'm actually happy i did. so far the main features (quests, dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds) haven't changed much (which is to be expected). but, the fluff stuff, the bells and whistles... are just plain fun. i'm loving the expanded cooking dailies with the Tillers Union, and the farming. love that i can at least get some valor points via dailies, albeit slowly, w/o having to raid if i don't want to. and love that Blizzard has given us a fishing faction. so far, MoP has completely surpassed my expectations, which really wasn't that hard to do since i didn't plan on getting it to begin with lol.

i agree with the quest design being extremely generic and predictable, but i've come to expect that from WoW. it seems it's even more so with this expansion tho. every new camp, village, town, etc that i go to seems to have lost a scout or warrior, etc... and only i'm skilled enough to go find them. you'd think with as much thought and creativity Blizzard has put into other features, they'd have an easy time coming up with more creative quests lol. go figure :D

I have found a lot of the quests this expac to have fun and entertaining writing. My BF, who was one of those "on the first day of Vanilla, I was there- you know nothing" types says he thinks this is the best expac since BC. I haven't tried the raids, but the fluff stuff is great. We're both trying to figure out what content to tackle first since there's so much new stuff. It's nuts.

There's no denying it's good, but my OCD just triggers when I try to do something like say....the Golden Lotus dailies.

It's better than Cata... and the female Pandaren are sorta kinda hot.... and the Monk class seems like it will be fun once things get more balanced...
*Grumble*

I really, really...and I mean REALLY hope that Blizz makes Pandarian flight BoA in the next patch, like they did with Cold Weather flight in Wrath.
I am fine with the idea of grounding us to force exploration in the new zones. But I am now working on my 2nd round through, and its become a tedious pain in the rear. I have 6 more alts after this one, 7 if you count the eventual Monk that I have not started yet. I honestly don't think I can (or will) level another toon on a ground mount after this one. I know its coming, I just hope its sooner rather than later.
Thats really my only "major" gripe with the expansion so far. Its been fun. There have been some memorable quests. The dungeons are tuned well (could be a little more difficult, but I'm OK with them), with some nice new mechanics. There is certainly no lack of things to do. I have not even scratched the surface of reps to grind, pets to battle, farms to work...ect.
Just please o' please let me level my alts in peace with a flying mount.

They'll probably give us something a la "Cold Weather Flight" soon enough.

Didn't like Cata, and Panda just made it worse. Especially on a PvP server, the lack of guards in the towns is absolutely annoying. And then once you hit max level, you basically have to grind dailies for rep and valor. Never been a fan of grinding dailies, can't even avoid it.

Complaints I personnally have?
I'm not a fan of the new tanking changes. I don't like having to decide between generating threat or staying alive, and I don't like the fact they seem to be making the tanks more similiar to one another.
I don't like the fact that Grimore of supremecy doesn't leave you the option of summoning the weaker pets still, without swapping talents.
I also wish we could use the larger flying mounts as ground mounts, but this isn't a new problem.
The male Pandaren still look really dumb, imo.
The fact that we still haven't gotten any DW tanks.
And, most of all, the loss of the Underwater Breathing racial for Forsaken.

Calm down.
Angry stalker
isn't a good look.
Physician heal thyself- lol.
Seriously, though- you've spammed that you're boycotting the game in like 8 different threads. I don't think the most casual of readers could have missed it. I'm not sure how you can spend days going to a public place with the sole aim of making sure everyone there knows how much you hate the topic of discussion that place is devoted to, and then call people who listen to your repetitive complaints stalkers for taking notice of your campaign. That's like running an advertising campaign for a business and then accusing people of trespassing for responding to your ad.

Really? I seem to see enough guards everywhere. They hit painfully hard too ;o.
Oh well, that's what crossrealm is for ;3

Bluerobe all you do is complain about Pandarens and Pandaria; time to give up Wowhead, which is a good start to not feeling so much hatred towards a pixel filled world.
You have your opinion on the game, that's fine...but after posting about it in multiple threads, you've gotten your point across. Time to move on.

A dramatic improvement over Cata, I must say.
The one negative I have is the new talent system. I didn't mind when the trimmed the fat last time 'round, but they've taken it too far. Talents, for me anyway, no longer contribute to the carrot-on-a-stick while leveling, which is a shame.
But as I said, overall a great expansion and huge improvement over Cata. For me, Cata lacked all feeling and atmosphere, and MoP is a return to the good stuff.
It's even brought me back to wowhead. :)
