Player returning after 2 year break, where to start?

hello I last played the game almost 2 years ago and finished the first tier of raiding in Cataclysm, after that lost interest. I ordered MoP so i can come back and pvp casually with friends, but there are so many new systems I dont know where to begin.

So far my to do list is:

Spec for PvP/PvE
User Interface
Add-ons
Auction House / Black Market
Reforge / Enchanting / Gemming
Pet Battles
Guild / Character / Name Transfers
Macros macros macros...
Transmog / Void Storage

Rinse/Repeat for alts

Have I missed any other important research to do? Are there other interesting systems or activities I should look into? Thanks for any advice for a re-noob.

seems you got it all pretty much covered.

since you casually returning, prehaps its worthwhile too check how LFR and it loot system works. (whenever you get bored with pvp)

On top of this, consider doing some dailies. I'd probably stay away from them once you reach the reputation level you want though (and you'll get enough Lesser Charms in the process). There's also some blog posts here on the reputations. Just look up the faction and you should find them in short order.

Do all the quests, that way you'll never think "oh maybe I should do these quests".

Thanks for the tips! Ill definately read up on LFR, and check into the dailies that would benefit me. Im excited to return to Azeroth.
