I mean don't get me wrong, i'm not some kind of spelling or grammar Nazi, but seriously, half of the posts people make on here I can barely even read.
Guys, listen: If you want advice from people on any given topic, at least make the effort to MAKE IT READABLE. If you aren't even going to put in the effort to type a proper post, why should any of us put in the effort to help you?
"HAY U GUYZ WOT PROFS r GUD 4 A DRooD? I Is LIEK AdvIEC PLZ" is not English, sorry.

Remember, WOW has over 9million players "worldwide"
To asume they had the same quality education as other is incorrect.True, but those aren't necessarily the worst.
English speaking people who tend to use abbreviations and slang that foreigners wouldn't and to just be lazy instead of putting a minimum of effort in what they write do represent a fair amount (i'd say the majority) of the posters the OP is complaining about.

I have to agree to some extent though. While I find the rules of English, and just about every other language, far too constrained for true expression of thought and idea, some do need to be followed, for the sake of order and proper communication. Things like capitalization aren't important, but typing half your words in internet-shorthand, misspelling the rest of the words, and completely ignoring grammar isn't acceptable. After all, you're asking us to read what you write, why make it hard for us?
Agreed. Your brain, like any muscle, must be exercised, or it will get lazy. Some people say "It's just a message board/chatroom, so spelling and grammar don't matter." I beg to differ; if all you know about me is what I've posted on a message board, I'd rather be thought of as halfway intelligent, instead of a drooling idiot who couldn't form a sentence if you spotted him the noun and the verb.
