I wouldn't worry too much about those BS plans - the items themselves are not BoP, so you can get someone else to make them for you if it turns out you need them.
One more thing to consider is that the Shattered Sun Offensive tank necklace has a different proc for Aldors and Scryers - 100 dodge for Aldor, 100 expertise for Scryers =
