"Good, Vindicator, we'll be needing them, I'm sure of it. For now, I would like you to make sure our defenses are adequate and that the soldiers are ready."
"Now, King Wrynn. I know that you wish to aid me in command, but I cannot have it. With all due respect, if we are unable to fend off an attack, the loss of your life would be too great a price for our defeat. Think of your people, man. Who will lead Stormwind if you are unable to return?"

- "Ah yes dwarf, but all great leaders are faced with death. I would be a coward to leave, and I am here to inspire my people to fight vigorously, not be the one to leave the battlefied first. I understand your concerns, but I will remain here" Varian said.
(( OOC - Last post for Varian, I can control him alright, but I would like to get back to my guy ))

Character:
Telnar Martin
Location:
Alliance Base Camp, Durotar
"Do you want something Lady Proudmoore, or are you going to continue to merely lurk at the edge of my concentration and continue to annoy me?" Martin asked, finally getting fed up of the way the Archmagus was acting. The human woman sighed and stepped forward, staring at the Magus with a strange look on her face. He could understand it; he was currently sitting cross legged infront of the stone he was using to hold the Shield up and looked for all the world like he was communing with the spirits.
"So is my sweaty chest that distracting?" He asked her, enjoying keeping the young mage off balance. He had removed his cloak, robes and the leather chestpiece to sit in the sun, and knew that, even though he was now in his mid 40's, he was still muscled. The man who had taught him was a firm believer that if the mage let himself get fat, his magic would fail more often then not.
"No, of course not Magus Martin." Proudmoore said, spreading her own cloak and taking a seat near him, Syliva watching them both. "I have a question, and I would like it answered, no jokes, no sarcasim.... Why are you here? You've been one of the most vocal among the high ranking mages about ending the war with the Horde, and yet your here to fight them!" She asked, staring at the stone in a little awe. "What do you know about me Proudmoore? Or to be more accurate, what do you remember of me?" He asked her, answering her question with his own.
"You were there to help the Alliance as they faught the Demon Horde, you did your damnedest to keep the Scourge back, you were there at Stratholme, same as many others.... Antin... I mean, My Master always spoke incredibly highly of you, saying you were one of the better mages at defensive spells. I know your the last of your family.... " She trailed off and he took pity on her, opening his eyes, and heard her gasp, and guessed that they were still glowing from the magic he was using.
"The Archmage was not a personal friend of mine, but hearing he died defending Dalaran... I'm sorry for you lost Proudmoore, I know and so did the entire Kirin Tor, how you felt for the old man. We lost a great man that day." Martin said quietly, looking out at sea where the Horde Blockade continued. "Yes, I am all that is left of my family. My sister gone, due to the madness of the Blight, that took her children from her. My parents killed in with the reclaiming of Alterac. My brother.... slain by the Death Knight Arthas the traitor and his forces." He chuckled humourlessly as he continued to stare at nothing.
"I'm here, because I'm tired of tragedies and death. How many did we see die at Hyjal, the Wrathgate, the Battle for Blackrock Spire, the Battle for the Portal, and Dalaran? How many more innocents must die for no reason?" He asked her, looking at her finally. "I fight because I want to end this idioticy before it goes too far Proudmoore, but I am not your master young lady, and I will not even attempt to give you advice as I barely know what I should be doing myself. Trust your instinct's Jaina, that was why you were chosen to be a weilder of the Arcane." He told her quietly, then returned to his spellcasting. Before he dropped back into his trance he thought he heard a small sniff, and hoped she would come to terms with what she would need to do.

Characters: Jonathan Bolvan
Location: Gates of Orgrimmar
- Jonathan arrived at the Orgrimmar gates, bearing a white flag and blowing a horn to announce their arrival. He had about five others with him, though it was only a mission to deliver a message that the armstice was going to come to an end soon enough.
"I just want to get a message to them before it's too late.."
Jonathan thought, waiting for the Horde to arrive.

High Commander Wolfas Blackbane
Durotar
"
Well this is new and exciting
" Wolfas thought, drawing his new Longswords. "It shall take more than some petty fire to take me down" Wolfas exclaimed, standing at full height. The Barghest, ran back to the shield, as Wolfas and his seven Greymane Elites stood, ready to attack.
Let him have the first move
