She felt the spell hit her and felt herself going entirely limp. If she could breathe she would growl at him but she was unable too.
He had been searching for his contact for awhile, having found that she had left with someone else. As he walked through the alley to find her he spotted someone choking a female, who wore obviously northern garments. He rushed forward, being as silent as he could, pulled out his knife and struck at the mans side, the knife going straight for a place between the ribs.

"Aw fuсk!" Talagant scowled when the shield reacted to the attack. It protected him from being stabbed to death, but still it felt like an ogre punching you into your ribs. He reluctantly put the entirety of his tongue back behind his teeth
"She'th got that damned note in between her boobth!" he told the assailant, backing away slowly. "You need it that badly - fine, I didn't even catch a glimpthe of it, pinkythwear."

He looked down at Sinera for a moment before turning back to Talagant. "It's not about the note, but the fact that your attacking anyone in the streets of the city is a crime. So submit and maybe your sentence won't be so bad." He said though he didn't let down his guard.
Sinera gasped for breath as she came free, glad that this man had come to her aid.

"Still does that make it right for you to attack her. I can easily tell you could have simply left when you wanted to." He said maintaining his stance.
Sinera continued to try and get her breathe back as she watched the stand off.

Victor watched the departure of the cart, turning back to the the corpses of the soldiers who had been chasing him pensively.
"Dat... vill not go over very vell." He murmured with a shudder. Looking back down the road he spotted the monumental wall separating Arathor from Hillsbrad rising in the distance. Picking up his refilled suitcase he hurried along the cobbled roadway as quickly as he could toward it's sanctuary.

," Talagant whispered under his breath, having been building up a spell while the covert ops was busy rummaging through his clothes.
"In your fathe, thucker," Talagant hissed triumphantly, unleashing an illusion spell that distorted the sounds and the images they produced. For an outsider, Sinera was still lying on the ground, and the males were still talking agitatedly.
Then, the mage's tongue shot out once again, wrapping around the SI:7 operative's throat and squeezing like no tomorrow. To make matters worse, Talagant attacked the spy's feet with a barrage of small fireballs.

Tae looked back at the younger man with a slight grin. "Well if you are going to get strong, the first thing you need to do is work on that attitude of yours." The Elf said as he looked towards the Wall. "And yes, we do go through that; the Wall is one of the main things protecting the rest of the world from Blackmoore and his armies."
Dennis grunted as he checked the Wall; he could see soldiers on the top of it, small figures at this distance.

"He's an Elf kid, they do everything perfectly from the start." Dennis said with a grin, and ducked the swing Tae sent at him with a laugh. "Keep that trap shut Dennis." Tae said with a grin back at his friend then looked back at the young man. "Practice lad, lots of practice. And a positive attitude; in magic, that's very important: If you think you will succeed, you will." He said and held up his hand and murmured a small spell, making a little fire bird appear there then sent it flying above their heads.

He wasn't stunned at all and quickly brought his knife up and began to slash at the tongue. He also quickly pulled out a throwing knife and hurled it straight at the elf.

The tongue remained attached both to its foot inside Talagant's mouth and around the spy's neck - for now. It still hurt as hell, as evidenced by lungful of air let out into a cry of pain and anger. The elf hurled a fireball into the knife, slowing it down enough to sidestep away from it, and continued his attempts to turn the spy's feet into a barbecue and his trachea into a bloody mess. Talagant began advancing onto the SI:7 operative.

"That's more or less the standard practice of magic Mel." Tae'sash said and grinned. "The greatest magi I ever had the pleasure to observe was also the most gifted sculpture. If you can create and hold the image in your mind, then gently draw the power into the spell matrix, and release it, you'll find better luck." Tae said and pointed at the fire bird which split into several small fragments that turned into their own version of the bird and looped around. Dennis' mare flicked an ear as it went past, but Tae's own steed merely ignored the fire object.
"Oh save me from this side of Tae." Dennis said to the sky, a grin on his face to show that he was teasing. "We should reach the Wall soon; hope you have something on you to show identification kid." Dennis told Mel.

He continued to struggle to cut the tongue, while continuing to try and avoid his feet being burned. He quickly reached with his free hand and pulled out a thing of dynamite from his pocket. He had it set up to light when it was removed from the pouch it had been in. He quickly tossed it straight at the elfs face, hoping it would phase him enough for him to escape with the girl.

Talagant hurled a frostbolt into the dynamite. It exploded halfway between the two, but now not as powerfully as it was supposed to. Reluctantly, the elf jerked back his tongue, and rolled his neck.
"Integrity tetht, shall we? If you don't thtop thtruggling, I'll hurl a fireball into your paralythed, helplethth friend. Choothe," the mage said with a sadistic grin. His face was covered in his own blood due to injured tongue, and he was gradually increasing the intensity of the fireball assault.
