Christians like these give the rest of us a bad name. They nit-pick passages from the Bible, making it say what they want it to say. What they neglect to do is look at the context, not just the content.
I like how she keeps referencing that single passage "Abstain from all appearances of evil".
Robin Sampson is clearly a woman and she appears to be teaching Christians about WoW, but in 1 Timothy 2:11-12 it says ever so clearly:
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
i.e. STFU, woman.
Same with this quote.>.>
What does it really mean, and why are you correct then, if you're so englightened?
I imagine it would be historical and textual context, like most people forget to include.
Honestly, you'd think a group of people proposing themselves to be less stupid than another would be intellectually honest and not quote mine.

Not all christians are like this, most of them have logic and such in their heads

Generalizations are frequently made, but rarely true.
As I said, I have friends who are very intelligent - and Christian. Judging anyone based on a stereotype can lead to invalid opinions.

Well, it's certainly an interesting opinion...
Anything we spend time doing to the point of putting aside Bible study and prayer should be a signal to us that there is a problem.
But, but...I want to eat and spend time with my family.

This can be found quoted in all versons with pretty much the same result…
Common ? I dont believe this but if you do then this article should not exist nor should half the other comments as this article and its comments are meant to warn/teach of the dangers of wow.

She just retconned her entire argument.
I am grieved that some people think that I am slamming them and looking down my nose at wow players.If you reread the post I think you will see my true intentions.
I sincerely apologize if I have said anything to lead anyone to feel that I am better than them. I want to make it very very clear I am not judging any person. I am making a judgment on this game for my family.
I do not think I am better than any Wow player. I am not. I am a sinner. I battle sin daily and often fall.
She pulled out every stereotype against gamers to bash them and further her argument. The very tone of her thesis was "holier than thou".
