You cannot present evidence for a belief; a belief is something that you accept without any (valid) supporting evidence. You know, there are
people
out there
who are trying to prove that God exists using scientific facts.
They simply shout loudly that their beliefs are true
because they believe them
, and tell me that I should believe the same as they to avoid the eternal torment in which they believe.I still don't see the difference between an athiest and a theist's beliefs, if they both present scientific evidence.
I assume that you're trying to say that, because someone has a
religioius
belief, that their opinion doesn't matter.

Once Jesus told his students: ‘I shall grant you wisdom and salvation’
and the students answered: lol nab, we want kings
LOL! This is great.
I can't believe people actually buy into all that BS. I forgot who said this, but it is a perfect quote:
"I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world."

You have to remember, however, that your logic is your logic....everyone has their own.
Double post, but this is simply not true. People do not have "their own" logic. People can use it to justify different things, but there is only logical and illogical.
Rigga please.

Don’t look so smug! I know what you’re thinking, but this article was merely a set back. Did you honestly believe I just lay down and take your ridiculous arguments without so much as a rebuttal? Hahahaha… Oh no, no, no, this was merely a ruse, a stepping stone to a much larger plan! It has all led to this…and this time, you will not interfere!

Are you sure you used that term correctly? As in, are you sure it applies. No, don't think so....
Postmodernism in a philosophical context? Yes, I did use it right.
A philosophical stance which claims that it is impossible to make grand statements—meta-narratives—about the structures of society or about historic causation, because everything we perceive, express, and interpret is influenced by our gender, class, and culture; knowledge is partial and situated, and no one interpretation is superior to another.
The original statement had the familiar stench of postmodernism. Most people don't know when they're speaking out influence from postmodernism.
You have to remember, however, that your logic is your logic....everyone has their own.
I've argued back and forth across multiple philosophies and religions. I have not seen more than one system of logic. Perhaps you're using the term loosely as merely a method of thinking, but that's not what logic is. Perhaps you should give an example of these different types of logic. Maybe a person who thinks that A can be both A and not-A at the same time. And again, this is a postmodern-esque statement.
Doesn't make them less intelligent, more uninformed, minor educated....it makes them individual.
Did I say anything about intelligence?
And no, what I say does not equate the validity of the Nazi view on race. You sure pulled out a lot of interpretation of your own in my short paragraph...lol
No, I extrapolated the concept of accepting the validity regardless of the veracity of the argument and painted it on a frame that is morally irreprehensible to most people to demonstrate the invalidity of the statement.
Your last sentence, okay, that one's a good one. That's what I'm saying as well.....I can't make you believe what I believe but I can respect that you have your own beliefs.
We obviously have different ideas of respect. Respect to me is arguing tooth and nail over who's right. It expects both parties to be competent and is intellectually stimulating. Respect is not treating people as if they're idiots with an attitude of "whatever you think is okay."

WHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA,YOU HAVE SEEN NOTHING.
to understand how evil we are just look at this thread in our satanic-wow site. It’s (seriously) the most common type of thread we have (other than threads of how human sacrifises should properly be done)
http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=139669&p=1760215
Wait, we have threads about human sacrifices?

It is quite impossible to have scientific evidence that proves anything meaningful with regard to religion.I'm sure there are a few religious fanatics out there that say science is evil, logic is evil, etc. But, in my eyes, Science is the study of God's creation. It can be poisoned just like everything else out there.
