Hello fellow hunters. Got a question about a build and wonder what your opinions are.
BUILDSome background on the build, I took points out of Imp Aspect of the Hawk and put points in Imp Mend pet and Thick Hide. My reasons behind this is when ImAotH procs it seems to screw up my shot rotation and I can't mixinize my DPS.
Again any thoughts
As long as your using a 1:1 or 3:2 rotation, which you should be as an BM hunter, your weapon is a wee bit fast (by about .10/sec) but with a macro you should be able to overcome this problem. If you plan on raiding, you do NOT need Thick Hide, drop Endurance Training 5/5 for Improved Aspect of the Hawk 5/5, and move the point from Thick Hide to Endurance Training 1/5.
go marks man... it boasts your dps so much with out using your pet
Wrong. Marks is an inferior build for full DPS, the only situations where Marksmanship builds shine is mid to late T6 content, and PvP where burst is king.
If you are going BM then you should deff get Spirit bond, and what type of pet are you using mainly? Oh and you dont need the improved revive pet unless you have a crap pet that you plan on having die alot. you should be working with you pet to take out your opponent, pvp or pve, before they kill either of you.
Spirit Bond is useless in PvE content, the health return is crap and your pet (and you) really should not be taking any damage. Improved Revive Pet is a much better raiding talent just in case the pet dies (which should be rare).
Also here is the link to my armory.
HawthornnAlso dealing with the supposed 2.4 mana nerf for hunters (personally, i haven't noticed it) are you keeping aspect of hawk up or viper up more?
First, get a Valanos' Longbow or a PvP s1 cross bow over what you have, both will provide better DPS. Next, replace your gems--do not socket for attack power if you plan on raiding seriously, always socket for stats unless a gem is a clearly superior choice. Why? Because of Blessing of Kings, and a myriad of other stat raising buffs. Drop Savagery for +35 agility as well, or get yourself an Sonic Spear from Shadow Labyrinth, the S3 hunter axe, or a Legacy.
Your gemming, and a few of your enchants generally needs work, otherwise you should be just fine. Oh and, yes it is a blue but at least shove a +12 damage scope on it, no need to get the +28 crit rating scope, but still...
And to answer your question, I don't really notice a difference in my mana pool, but then again I chain chug Fel Mana Potions and have an Shadow Priest.
