A quick glance at
http://www.wowwiki.com/World_of_Warcraft_API#Merchant_Functions
says that's probably not happening. Maybe playing around with
GetMerchantNumItems()
and
GetMerchantItemInfo(index)
would allow you to check if another item was added (if you're waiting for a rare recipe or something)
