Just wondering for anyone that would like to help what is the opener and strats for a 20/0/41 rogue, and are they restricted to one weapon type or can they choose?

With shadowstep, you are not restricted to any weapon type, you can choose any weapon you choose. For your openers, use it like normal, save shadowstep as an anti-kite manuever so you can get right back on your target and keep wrecking his face. I personally don't recommend with opening with shadowstep, but you can use it however you feel like.
Daggers are a no-no, though. go for a slow mainhand of anykind, and a fast offhand.

sure, people can do what they want, but hemo shadowstep is superior in everyway, shadowstep with daggers will get you nowhere.
