dont worry, you will get into outlands at 58 and then you will get to brag to them how fast you level

I am new to Wow, and I have a lv57 affliction lock. I am currently getting 1 level every 3hrs, while my friends say they getting 1 level every 30min to an hr. I wonder if I am doing something wrong, and that if there is a way to level faster and catch up.

Usually I go to a green to yellow zone, get a bunch of quest in town, then head out according to questhelper, do the god of death and dot multiple mobs and fear them. After 3-4 quest done, I will head back to town. I try to kill as fast as I can. But I just not sure how to make it go faster.

Any help or comment would be most welcome. Thank you in advance.

1st, stop doing green quests. Go for yellow to orange.
Keep getting lumps of quests, sometimes you can even get multiple quests to kill the same mobs(warm fuzzy feeling now)

2nd, groups. You can do those quests in a group. Excluding quests for random drops(which suck) you can all get credit for doing the quests at the same time and you will all get experinace for kills if you are within range. Bests quests are the "Go kill X of <mob name here>" Say the number is 10 and you have 5 part members, grab 5-10 of them mobs and nuke em down and each of you will get the credit and be done a lot quicker.

3rd when soloing and you run across some one in the same area who might be doing the same quest, invite them to group up. This is helpful and, if the quest is for a named spawned mob, polite

And for the love of god ASK them first, dont just send them a invite out of the blue, dont know how many times I got %^&*ed off at people who would just randomly send me a invite for group while i was in the middle of questing....(without saying anything ofcourse =P )
