Why not do both quests (in the dungeon & in Nagrand)? You will surely get a ton of XP & let's not forget the monetary rewards when you sell the unused items!

Unless you're adamant about using a polearm, there is a very good axe reward in Nagrand. I picked up the
Honed Voidaxe
from the
Ring of Blood
quest in the Warmaul compound (in far north-central Nagrand), which I still use on my Lvl70 warrior in battlegrounds as I grind honor for better gear.
The
Halaani Claymore
is also available in Nagrand, assuming your faction has control of Halaa and it hasn't been purchased already (apparently there's a limited number of them which are restocked periodically), but I completely missed it since I was just focused on getting to that level cap sooner.
