New Hunter/WoW Player

Well guys/gals,

First let me say that I am new to WoW (started when Cata came out). I recently made a priest but afterwards I got bored of not only having no AOE attacks at high 40's but also not being able to hold my own in instances for farming and stuff.

I've always liked hunters and I love their bows. I use to play alot of Dota a year ago and Windrunner as well as DrowRanger were in my top 3 as my fav characters because they had bows.

Recently did some PVPing. First time I did pretty dodgy.

Second time I just topped the leader boards with 18 HK's and most Damage (MM Talent). Im only 18 and don't have any real decent equips.

Just a question though since Im crap at Macro's.
I wanna make a macro at my lvl that allows me to do the following when my opponent is in melee range. Remember I am a MM.

1.Raptor Strike
2. Wing Clip
3. Disengage
4. Concussive

What do you guys think? Since they are so close in I thought an instant bit of damage followed by slow-->escape--->slow and then I can start attacking again. Idea's?

2. Wing Clip
3. Disengage
4. Concussive

You can't do them all at once.

Do a castsequence macro like this to macro them together.

/castsequence reset=20 Raptor Strike, Wing Clip, Disengage, Concussive Shot

I would Recommend u Drop Raptor Strike and Wing clip completely(Wing clip is unecessary at lower levels imo!)
and Glyph Concussive shot so u can have 100% uptime on it, Disengage is your get-away-with-a-murder button usually, use it when melee are near you and concussive shot them to slow them down!

For Spec(Marksman) I recommend This
And for Pet, U should tame a Cat, they give Agility buff which increases your damage by quite a bit! Pet spec here

You shouldn't use any melee attacks as a Hunter(Wing Clip being the 1 ability people use in 85 Arenas mostly tho.)

Hunters are masters of kiting, and you should take advantage of it by staying as far away from your enemy as possible. While questing, it is best to keep Concussive shot on Cooldown at all times in Combat
