Doomplate has a couple pieces if I'm not mistaken which can be used in a starter set. At least, I know there's a 2-piece bonus, depending on what you already have, may eclipse a few other starter pieces.
I believe some of the basic requirements, somewhat conservatively, will be around: 95 hit rating, 22% critical strike chance, and 1500 attack power. Some others may give more realistic, or up-to-date, guidelines.
