Character:
High Lady Abigail Brightwings of House Brightwings
Location:
Tol Barad
The elf ran past many cells in her wild flight from the dwarf behind her. Without any warning, a twilight drakonid emerged from a cell. A burn scar enveloped its face, leaving one eye blind. A brutal, massive mangle of flesh covered its chest, and in its hands was a twisted black elementium spike. Wherever this dragonkin had come from, it had come die.
Abigail gazed up at it in horror, she could sense the faint traces of magic around it and could tell that a resurrection spell had recently brought it to life; and the spell had been incomplete, the drakonid was dying.
The twilight dragonkin lashed out and the spike ripped across her arm. Her high pitched scream rose above the drakonid's snarls as a plume of deepest crimson suddenly painted her nearly white appendage.
Smelling the blood it had shed, the drakonid laughed as it thrust the spike forward, trying impale the elf upon the shard. Abigail, reeling in pain, struck out, sending three solid bars of light into her opponent. The drakonid's laughter abruptly vanished as it suddenly contorted. The bars went right through it, striking the walls behind the twilight.
With another savage cry, the drakonid suddenly deflated, falling to the ground limply. Abigail slumped to the ground, cradling her arm which was rapidly shedding blood. Then, a very young night elf garbed in the purple colors of the Twilight's Hammer, timidly tiptoed into the corridor. Obviously this young cultist had been the perpetrator behind the drakonid.
Abigail could appreciate the boy's, for he was no more than that, foolish mistake; she had made so many of those these last few days. Had it only been a few hours ago that she had been lying in a bed in Booty Bay? No matter, not now. The shaking cultist suddenly realized that Abigail was still alive. Yelping, he raised his hands and a lethal spell formed, impressive for one so young, and readied to strike.
The High Seat of House Brightwings however, was in no mood for spell games. She shot a bolt of white hot energy which struck the other elf squarely in his chest. Gaping at the smoking hole through him, the cultist fell over backwards and did not stir ever again.

"It's going to be okay." Xander said, patting the girl on the shoulder. "Come on." He added; leading the girl over towards the fire.

Hexic rolled his eyes at such an offensive comment. Why did everyone assume that Death Knights were like those horrid excuse for undead people, the Forsaken with their mad queen? Indignant, Hexic haughtily replied, "No, your death! So long as you don't give me the artifact!"

Abigail, lying on the ground and trying to staunch the heavy flow of blood, called out to Hexic, "This isn't about A'ruu anymore. Don't you understand? You must join me or the priest will kill us both!"

Approaching the high elf, with only a raised eyebrow at the dead
things
, Hexic replied smugly, "And guess what? I don't care. I owe the priest a favor so as soon as you give me or him the artifact, I'll be on my merry way."

Bright golden light suddenly illuminated Abigail in her fetal position, "Oh please come closer!" she snarled, looking up at the Death Knight.

"Hmm," was all the sound Jared made, though probably unheard over the whirring of the helicopter blades.

"Can you ask him what the mask looks like?" Zach asked. "I don't want to grab the wrong one. That'd be the height of embarrassment."

Morgan gestured to a table, slightly lower to allow for Willow to sit. A plate with sandwiches, milk and a few cookies sat on it.

"Aye, Booty Bay," Vanitas answered. "Hopefully he'll bring someone else, but it's up in the air right now."

Character
: Ohrmuzd
Location
: Skull Island
Time passed. Much of it, little of it, it was relative and very, very subjective. Suffice it to say the sun shone high above still when the boat's keel buried into fine sand of the shore with a soft rustle.
Ohrmuzd opened his eyes slowly, awakening from a half-lucid state. His arms ached from the work, but not so much so as to hinder him in combat. He rolled his shoulders and clenched his fists several times, then vaulted overboard, landing ankle-deep in water with a splash.
Character
: Jastiel Vorei
Location

"Then off we go," Jastiel nodded. "I raided your cold cellar, by the way. Nice ice cream," he added with what was supposed to be an apologetic face, except it was clear the cryomancer was not one used to say 'sorry'.
Character
: Isaac Ashwood
Location
: Zul'Gurub
"Grab all the magic masks we can get our hands on and sort them out later?" Isaac suggested, the half-Eredar having overheard Zach's last remark just as the son of Ahriman made his way into the temple summit.

"Hell no!" Hexic replied back as if the high elf was putting him in a suicide mission. He then blew a horn of Winter before firing a barrage of death coils to cover his approach on the high elf.

Abigail only blocked the spells Hexic sent at her, not striking at the dwarf. Her bright blue eyes watched the undead like a hawk on a mouse.

"Well done! You managed to block death coils and probably take a whole load of damage. And I'll still be able to kill you!" He followed the threat up by charging outright against the High Elf, ready to call down gargoyles if anything should happen. Meanwhile, he wondered where Sagohrkn was when you needed him.

As soon as the High Elf began launching spells, Hexic replied in kind by putting up his anti-magic shield. However, it was quite hard to strike and keep up a shield at the same time so Hexic, forced by the spell, approached more carefully to the High Elf, mostly absorbed in shielding himself.

Abigail yelled in frustration, screaming, "Fool, fool, fool!" over and over again, though weather it was directed at Hexic or herself was unclear.
Suddenly, a wave of white light washed over them both, rushing around for several seconds. And then it was gone leaving Hexic unharmed and Abigail crumpled on the floor, unconscious.
"Boo," said Sagohkrn, striding into the scene.

"Oh, hi, Sagohrkn!" Hexic greeted the priest after he had got over of the terror of being washed in the 'Holy' light. "Now you've got the High Elf you can get the artifact and then we'll part ways."

"Yes, would you prefer a portal to Ironforge or Stormwind? Or would you rather just walk home?" Sagohkrn laughed, "By the way it's 'Sagohkrn.'" he bent down beside the fallen elf and withdrew the intricately carved wood pedestal upon which sat the glowing white orb.

"Names are so confusing." Hexic replied wearily before answering the priests earlier question, "And I'll make my own portal thanks." Staring at his runeblade, Hexic began casting a death gate.

"I'm afraid we won't be leaving yet," said the Priest, "I have another offer for you." Without furtherado, he grabbed both Hexic and Abigail into a huge domed room that hadn't been there before. The door they had entered suddenly vanished and Sagohkrn let go, smiling at them as the green fire entered his eyes again, "Welcome to the Twisting Nether!"

"So is this the part where we find out that you're actually an evil mastermind villian and laugh, followed by me escaping somehow and killing you. So cliched..." Hexic sighed forlornly, not even bothering to look at his surroundings after one glance.
