for efficiency and viability, you want to have 2 different builds for PvP and PvE, even if you're a straight out healer
so I would highly advise against it

here's a
50/11/0
raid healer build, a
41/20/0
PvP healer build and a
40/0/21
-
31/0/30
shockadin build
here's a
5/8/48
raid retribution build, a
5/11/45
retribution build and a
0/20/41
retribution PvP build
If you go through the listed builds, you'll notice similarities and differences, the shockadin, a variation of the holy paladin, is a viable option in 5 mans, BG's and soloing, you'll notice that the talent
Divine Illumination
is missing in both shockadin variations. This implies that the shockadin cannot last as long as a regular holy paladin.
You should also notice that the PvP builds for retribution and holy are both similar in the fact they have they key talents in their respectable trees and have the rest devoted in the protection tree. The talents spent in
Improved Righteous Fury
, which would be an added hinderance in PvE, is invested, this is so that since there is no threat, you are reducing the damage that comes directly to you.
If you have any further questions or speculations, feel free to ask.

Then how about a
13/0/48
or
20/0/41
for DPS with offhealing capabilities?
