Probably on around the same level as Past Sins, i.e., death will be mentioned, but won't occur on-screen. Although, I had considered having Discord turn somepony into a ham at some point to
bump up his menace value
.
Of course, they could always
get better
...
Also, on a different note... I think that the Wonderbolts may actually be a part of Equestria's military, not unlike the Thunderbird or Blue Angels that they are based on. The show initially painted them as a sort of athletic competition group, but then they came
To The Rescue
in "The Secrets of My Excess." However, the thing that's got me thinking of it now was
this picture
. Soarin's suit there, looks very similar to the
Army Service Uniform
, in my opinion. The pins on the collar echo the
Branch Insignias
worn on the ASU collar, and the stripes on his sleeve seem reminicient of the
Service Stripes
worn on the ASU sleeve.
Of course, he's wearing a dress shirt, rather than a jacket, and neither the Branch Insignias nor the Service Stripes are worn on the Class Bs, but it ends up looking more like a military uniform than a simple dress suit nonetheless.

They are a part of the army. I'm sure their rank is specified somewhere on MLP wikia or something.

Hmm...
Well, it seems other people noted the military uniform in that picture before I did, but I just noticed it today... :P
I do think it's pretty neat, as someone who sees ASUs on a regular basis.

Wowhead, thanks.
Back in October 2011 while looking through the Mage forums, someone posted a link to Youtube to anti-troll someone with a video. That video was Fluttershy singing
I Love Everything
. What this was, I didn't know. Curiosity and a few clicks later brought me to a show called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I read "My Little Pony" and thought the same negative thoughts most people hold. All of the comments I read expressed a love for this show. I decided to watch one episode, to see what was so enjoyable about this apparently amazing new show.
Lesson Zero
was that episode, and throughout the whole thing I was constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure no one would see me watching a show based on ponies. But at the same time, something clicked.
Something about the show resonated with the people and with me. Cartoons today don't have the same feeling they did in the 90's (to me). I see some of the cartoons today and just feel no connection to them, no desire to watch them.
MLP brought back that feeling I had as a kid, pushing through the school week for the excitement and joy of being able to see a new episode on the greatest block in Cartoon Network, Toonami. Only this time, it's the Hub, and it's ponies.
So thanks Wowhead. For introducing me to one of the greatest communities in the world.

There were also alicorn guards at the royal wedding, I'm starting to question whether these are animation errors.
Really? Where? I didn't spot any.

Here, some you can see their wings if you look closely
Sorry for the big link.
Yeah, I think that's an animation error. They coppied and pasted the bodies to save on time, and added the horns to give the group some unicorns while forgetting or ignoring that they already had wings.
