Mutilate buff in 2.4 - Worth it?

I am full sub spec with S1 fists so far. I have looked on the retalents at mutilate, and they look quite imba some of em, like 45% imp. crit chance and big dmg output.. However, the thing about loosing Shadowstep and hemo, and going to kill from behind (cant be rather annoying for yourself), makes me worry about its all worth it?

I do fine damage at fist. The only thing I miss is like doing high damage at a start of a battle like Ambush.

So should I roll muti for PvP, or stick to shadowstep and enjoy cheap shot/Garrote -.-

Aye. But then again, my question were about is muti better than the shadow/hemo?

Muti crits high yes, but costs alot. Hemo for my purpose, crit fine for 1800~2k, and costs 35 energy

heres my opener style
cheap shot (2 combo points)
mutilate (2-3 combo points)
kidneyshot (1 combo pont and 25 energy making my kidneyshot free)
mutilate (2-3) combo points
rupture,slice n dice,shiv
and now my target finally gets unstunned

edit: and with a double crit mutilate i can deal about 2k-3k damage.. that hurts
If the opponent is in mail, leather or cloth I will generally follow cheapshot with mutilate then -expose armor-. It is especially good with a 41/20/0 build since you are already trying to maximise your white damage within the scope of a muti build.

It also leaves eviscerate as a viable finisher whereas now eviscerate is very underwhelming at 70 compared to envenom...

I am tempted to start switching to deadly MH when I see a paladin or warrior because the burst off a 5 point cold blood/envenom is scary. Any other muti rogues use deadly in PvP much?
