Is rep grinding making a come back? I personally liked rep grinding via tabard\dungeon - but looking though the MoP reps, I don't see ANY with a tabard that increases rep through dungeon play.

Yes, at this point in time, you only get faction rep through questing and dailies; at exalted, you get a tabard for a reward.

yes adamsm is correct, the tabard will be a faction exalted reward instead of a tool too reach exalted. just like it was in TBC. personally im glad about this.
i do wonder: does doing dungeons give rep? for example
Shado-Pan Monastery
does killing stuff in here grant shado-pan rep, just how BC dungeons gave rep too factions who were involved with said dungeon (ramparts giving thrallmar/honor hold rep) or does the only rep come from quests/dailies?

The epics that you can buy from rep vendors are available at revered, not exalted like the past 2 expansions. That takes away a significant part of the ´grind´ early on. Also, as usual, most of the factions reward you with a good amount of rep just by doing normal questing in that zone, so you are well on your way to revered.
Once you get your epic grear at revered, then the ´grind´ begins.. but it is only for vanity items, and a big addition this expansion is that daily quest give VP.
And finally, the rep epics you can buy at revered require VP to buy.. which has a weekly cap of 1000. What this means is you really have no reason to go balls-out to get revered with every faction the first two weeks because you won´t have enough VP to buy the gear anyway.
Unless you really want to be first on your server to have the mounts, there isn´t much of a reason to do crazy amounts of dailies per day. Just make sure your VP is capped per week and that you are making progress for factions so that when you do have VP saved, you have the revered gear unlocked.

Heh, that's why I said at this point in time felhunter; so far, they aren't giving dungeon specific rep.

Same thing that happens every time there is a new tier of raiding/expansion/end of season happens: Downgraded into JP/HP then turned into gold if you stay over 4k after the final push goes through.

and to repeat, you have to compare apples to apples. In Cata and Wotlk, we had to ´grind´ to exalted to buy epics. In MoP, we only have to grind to revered. There are many MANY different quests for each faction, so if all you want is the epics, you may not even repeat that many quests at all. It shouldn´t feel at all like daily quests in the past, and should be much more like a quickened version of MF.
