MoP Factions, Rep, Dailies, and Gear?

Hi,

Is there a guide here somewhere? I checked out the first few pages in General and didn't see one.

If not, could someone (adamsm *cough*) give me (and other presumably like interested wowheaders) a rundown on the new MoP factions and how you can get Rep (Dailies I presume) and what gear you can get from getting to different rep levels with them (if any)?

Do the faction quests in the zones, you get rep.
Do faction specific dailies in the zones, get rep.

Profit.

And all gear is at Revered with the Mounts at exalted.

There, question answered.

As for the gear itself, go look at Wowinsider, as they've shown all the items from three of the main factions so far.

BTW: I've found that the gear is also listed in the factions under factions->mop on wowhead.

Under the MoP reputation menu, each faction page will have a tab with all the rewards and also quest links.

I have been leveling rep on beta and will be doing a series of posts soon on the factions. The Klaxxi for example have really cool weapons for transmog and Shado-Pan has a themed hat. Golden Lotus has 4-5 quests per hub so I'll probably do screenshots of each area with the quests listed underneath. More items were assigned factions in the latest patch.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

Do you mean the 'Factions' menu?

There's a bug there too. If you go Database->Factions->MoP there's another submenu with 3 factions listed that take you nowhere (although I guess they could be placeholders?).

If you just click on MoP, you get a listing of all the factions fine.

In addition to the question mentioned above, I tried to do a filter on all the quests in Pandaria (Database->Quests->Pandaria) but did not see "The Lorewalkers" in the drop-down after I selected "increases reputation with...". I guess they haven't been added yet?

Lorewalker rep primarily goes up with turn in of Archaeology turn-ins and the like.

Please remember to include the very important fact that there is absolutely no reason to grind daily quests the first week to get to Revered. The epics you buy from factions cost VP, which you can only earn 1000vp per week. In fact, if it takes you 3 weeks to get your first Reputation to revered, you will still be waiting a week for VP to buy the second item from them.

So many people seem to miss that point and think they will have to slam reputations as soon as they hit 90.

Though honestly, as you level, you'll be at least half way through honoured with most of the rep except for the Golden Lotus, since you need to be 90 to start questing in the Vale of the Eternal Blossoms anyways.
