Good lord, I hate Kai Leng. I can't wait to blow his head off with the Black Widow i'm getting just for him.

He even sent Shepard a cocky message to rub something in. Time to add extended barrel V and concentration mod V to the widow.

you'd hate him even more if you had read the book Mass Effect: Retribution. Which is the book were kai leng made his debut, :S he killed Aria T'loak's daughter in cold blood there.

Killing Kai Leng is probably one of the most cathartic moments in the entire game.

Also, is it me or does Mordin have a cross-species fetish? In ME2, he was all eager to give you all sorts of crazy advice on how to do your alien LI, and then there's the above. Also, I totally heard him trying to sell Garrus to eve, talking about scars and he's all reliable and stuff? Mordin's kind of a freak.

Unlikely to be fetish. Salarians lack sexual drive, egg-laying and have little understanding of romantic, or pheromone-based interactions, Tries hard to create multi-xeno-romantic interactions. *sharp inhale* For science of course.

He IS the very model of a scientist salarian, species lives at most 40 years, he's in his mid-30's, wishes to complete investigation before his time is over *sharp inhale*

What a sad ending. Honestly, it feels like they just end it, got no sense of accomplishment at all from it.

EDIT: I really am surprised. I agreed it seemed like they had just run out of money when they were supposed to be filming the end sequence of the game, and it was kind of weird since the rest of the game was SOOOOOO good. But I didn't actually expect them to do anything about it. I guess the numbers of complaints must have been pretty high on this one.

I remember when DA2 came out, a lot of people were pissed about the re-use of dungeons and the inability to get out of that city at all, but all they did in response was write good DLC that didn't reuse assets. I'm surprised they're actually going to make changes to the game.

If Bioware's taking requests now, I'd like to open negotiations to let us finish the Sebastian romance and blow Malavi Quinn out an airlock.

Is it any surprise? They did it for Mass Effect Deception which was a BOOK, a BOOK. (And one that probably less than 10% of the fans bothered to read, as reading IS a dying art these days). So, is it any surprise they'd do it for the game?

The real kicker is whether or not its gonna be free.

Maybe I shouldn't be too surprised- they're being pretty responsive to player complaints/suggestions in SWTOR. Boyfriend's playing the test realm right now, and they've made a lot of changes for the better. Maybe they're trying to more directly address player complaints than most game companies do (for non-mmo's).

Dammit I'm impressed with the dialog on this game, browsing through more youtube vids, I stumbled upon this little gem:

(This happens when shepard asks Admiral Hackett why did he put him/her in charge of leading the final battle against the reapers)

Hackett: Shepard, let me tell you something that I've learned the hard way. You can pay a soldier to fire a gun. You can pay him to charge the enemy and take a hill. But you can't pay him to believe.

Shepard: ...I don't follow, sir.

Hackett: When you went up against Sovereign, there was no good reason to believe you'd win. But your crew didn't seem to care — they went along anyway. Your trip through the Omega 4 relay? That was a suicide mission if there ever was one. Yet there your crew was, standing beside you, proud to serve.

Hackett: With all you're facing out there, one thing impresses me most: you inspire confidence. I know everything hasn't gone as well as you'd hoped. Every war has its disagreements, so to speak. But... Your crew has done things no one else would even try — simply because you asked them to. Why? Because they believe in you. Their leader. That's what I need now.
