i think mana burn is a disc spell and only shadow damage is affected by shadowform so i
think
that it won't affect it.

although its listed under "disc" talents, it causes shadow damage; while most disc spells are arcane based (such as inner fire).
it

work with shadowform. but im not a spriest so i cannot play test and findout myself.

Although it does Shadow Damage for the mp that it burns, it is a Discipline spell.
I don't think I've ever been locked out of using it from a Kick after Mind Blasting, but it's been a long time.
When I was a young priest, I read this on wowwiki about Manaburn. It really is quite fascinating with how it behaves:
"Mana Burn has some strange behaviour in combination with the Shadow tree. It works with Shadow Weaving, Shadowform, Vampiric Embrace, and Vampiric Touch. However, it does not proc Blackout, nor does it benefit from Darkness or Shadow Affinity. Shadow Focus probably does not affect it as well.
Its threat simply depends on its damage and follows normal rules; the mana drain does not cause any additional threat."
Edit:
To answer your original question, it wouldn't change anything about the amount of mp that is burned, it would only increase the amount of shadow damage that the burn produces.
