I know this place," Amber muttered to herself under her breath. She had tuned out the conversation occurring in the middle of the room in favor of wracking her brain for whatever nugget of information buried in her mind would reveal the identity of their location.
Turning her back to the middle of the chamber, she stared at the bookshelf in front of her, one row of which she had pulled apart in order to create her current platform. Overly elaborate, escher library filled with dust, cobwebs, cracks, and unexplained phenomenon.
"Wait."
She paused, looked over her shoulder and examined the circular room again.
"No. That's stupid. That's entirely too stupid to be considered."

"... this is going to sound utterly stupid the moment I say it out loud," she muttered, rubbing her eyes and sighing. "Bear with me, this is going to be ridiculous--Jonas, right? Yeah, the nerd, you're totally Jonas. Okay. So you were saying something about Kingdom Hearts, right? Well, so we're in a crazy library with a lot of bizarre things going on and the entire thing is set up like an M.C. Escher painting, and you get me thinking about games. "
Amber paused for a moment, finding her mouth had suddenly gone dry trying to explain it. She flushed red for a moment, looking away from the gathered company of men and stared attentively at one of the torches on the wall instead, "Sorry. Tangent. to say here is that the only place I can think of that matches this description is the upper halls of Karazhan. I mean, it has the same color scheme and general atmosphere. I think I didn't catch on sooner just 'cause it doesn't seem to be an exact recreation."

"W-wait, you're just taking that at face value? I just said we might be in a location that only exists in a video game and you're telling me you believe that it's real!" Amber interrupted with a dumbfounded expression. "I was waiting for at least some skepticism! Maybe a 'how's that possible'? I had a whole speech lined up about how this place could be a prank joke or a really extreme LARPing recreation or arena!"
