Decidedly clean and freshly shaven, the firebat headed down the corridors to the cantina, toying with his lighter.
At one of the crossings, he ran into Madison - fortunately, figuratively speaking. To his credit, all that happened was him saluting - rather smartly, at that - and grunting, "Magistrate," though the tip of his nose did turn sharply pink.

Alistair relaxed noticeably when Madison was no longer looking at him, though there was a certain stiffness as he walked behind the Magistrate, at a polite distance. The fact that he was now appreciating the rear view helped.
