this macro script toggles between fullscreen and windowed mode ..
/run local a = "gxWindow"; SetCVar(a, 1-GetCVar(a)); SetCVar("gxMaximize", 0); RestartGx()you can change "gxMaximize" to 1, if you want to toggle between fullscreen, and windowed (Fullscreen) mode

A more curious question, why would you need such a macro? :p
~ janniel.
Sounds like someone is playing WoW when/where they're not supposed to... *twists non-existent mustache evilly*

I don't play on a mac anymore, but I don't understand why the mac version has keybinds for toggle windowed mode and itunes controls while the pc version doesn't.
Fixed up an old hand-me-down HP that someone was getting rid of.
off topic: I don't understand why Apple doesn't just throw down the gauntlet and allow their OS to be used on PCs... I'd love to run around with whatever cat they've named their newest OS after, but I don't want to drop 2 grand on a laptop with lower specs than one I can get for 1/2 the price (and yeah, I was running around online last week, "customizing" laptops on various websites... *gives Sony the finger* YOU'RE NO BETTER.)

That said, in
Windows
, at least, once you're windowed, ALT+Space, N will open the window menu and use the accelerator key for minimize. Not sure what the Mac equivalent would be.

I used to use a program called HideWin its a simple .exe file I could put on a USB and i was able to program any keyboard hotkey to hide a window instantly, it would remove it from the taskbar and hide the window as if you had closed it, but would show normally when you press the hotkey again.
Unfortunately I can't find a website to get it from anymore, googling hidewin comes up with something else which doesnt have the hotkey feature, by the looks of it.
Here it is
- Just downloaded it and opened it, works perfectly fine, as well as virus scanned, so you can use it safely :)
You probably could use AutoHotKey to do exactly that, but would be very advanced coding to remove all trace of the window open.

Because - especially after the switch to Intel - OS X is the main draw to their computers, which they make their money off of. If they officially supported PCs, there would be less of a reason for people to buy a mac.
Not to mention, having to support the massive variety of PC hardware would totally kill their reputation for stability and things "just working".
That being said - if your hardware is close enough to what Macs do use, then it's certainly possible to run OS X on a PC. Granted, even if you actually purchase the OS fair and square, you're still breaking their EULA if you run it on anything but a Mac.
I'm currently triple-booting Win 8, Win 7 and OS X 10.7 Lion on a ordinary PC. The only thing that doesn't work perfectly, is my internet connection - and only because I had to switch to a USB wi-fi antenna. It worked fine with standard Ethernet, but for Wi-fi, I'd have to get one of their Airport antennas. So I just tether to my Android.
