Lolsmite is a nice build. only thing with your build is that I'd want focused power for 4% (!) spellhit on smite.
The thing which makes smitelol not viable to highend instances is the fact that it boosts noone at all.
Holy; healer
shadow; 5% spelldmg, 10%(?) shadowdmg, passive manaregen for party, if needed passive hpregen for party.
Lolsmite doesnt benefit the party/raid with anything at all, except that it do have imp spirit, but a holypriest _should_ already have that in your group.

The thing about the smite build is that it is capable of big dps. If you have dps classes that dont offer more buff's/debuffs then there shouln't be a reason not to have a smite priest. Spriest dps doesn't scale well into end game, and people dont want them for dps it's all about the debuff and mana/2nd health regen. I have seen a lot of WWS reports and shadow priests in T5 and T6 content arn't topping meters to say the least. Being Hit capped and having 1300+ dmg and a GOOD smite spec I think you could be topping meters, and I think you'd be a welcome addition over ANOTHER Hunter or ANOTHER Boomkin.

Another spriest would be more of a "welcome" addition over another hunter, another boomkin, or a holy dps priest.

I always liked this build, but since I geared up as a shadow priest, I lacked the necessary +crit to really see how it performs. The only major issues I've heard of is that there can be mana issues, but if your spirit is good after the patch that may be a non-issue.

um any good healing spec priest knows the benefit of having CoH outweighs the need for Divine Spirit.

It depends with CoH. There are times that it rules. But having Imp DS in a raid group means that all casters get dmg and healing bonus based on their spirit.
I wouldn't say it's clear cut when considering the circumstances and the party make up, especially if you're the only priest in a caster-heavy party/raid.
I love CoH. It'd be hard for me to give it up.
