Prince of Wind

"By the Four Winds you're creepy! And a bit overly familiar I think," he added in afterthought to the shadow being. "As for the ceiling, lightning does not go up. Well...it does sometimes, but I'd rather not shred myself on all those branches. I need momentum! So...that way!" With a sudden burst of energy the Prince flew away from the other two, his feet seeming to glide over the ground on a cushion of wind.

Francis ran after him, mistaking the Prince for talking about her, "How am I being overlyfamilier and creepy? Fine, have it your way. Maybe you should just carry me, airguy!"

"Not you. And you come too!" he added joyously, scooping Moonlight up without breaking his stride and laughing with reckless abandon at his new found freedom.

"And now your being rude on purpose," said Francis huffily, "Sure, save your own kind who hasn't even said that he is part of your kind. I'll just die here or something." Despite her grim words, she kept running along side with the Prince, obviously smitten.

Queen Rosea
Nature Kingdom
Rosea sat for a long moment, considering her options. She had to make things right before she ran off, at lease.
Getting up, she headed off through the foliage; making her way towards the dungeons.

Character:
Prince of Wind
Location:
Nature Kingdom
The Prince merely laughed carelessly and tugged the worg closer, a current of air gliding beneath his feet as though he had tiny wings on his curling shoes. He was quick as the wind and just as unstoppable.
So it was with some consternation that he swirled around a tree and saw a plant woman right in front of him.
Character:
Crackle, Gust
Location:
Nature Kingdom
As the shadows grew smaller their owners were made manifest through the break in the trees. Two air elementals drifted into the clearing, their descent raising the wind below to an even greater pitch, and their landing signalling its swift fading.
There was not a second of delay on landing before both were moving about the clearing in obvious agitation. The first elemental was a violent wind made physical, taking the form of a swirling tornado. From within the swirling jagged winds two eyes glowed with frantic yellow light. Two arms extended from the trunk of its body, made of the same swirling air as its body but with the additional ornamentation of two golden bracers inset with blue stones.
The second elemental took a more human manifestation, but only in general shape. A head, arms and torso evident. But the creature itself was made of sparking lightning, contained in jagged strips of rust coloured metal like an armour, which hung off him in pieces as though it were a rudimentary disguise for the crackling essence which lay within. One limb ended in a tall shield, the other bearing a blade which curled from its grip like the vortex and wailed keenly like wind under pressure.
"It is here!" Gust, the wind elemental proclaimed, swirling into the crater. "This crater! Only the Prince could have formed such an impression!"
"Of course it was he!" came the reply from Crackle, the armoured lightning elemental. "Only his illustrious majesty could have caused such an impressive crater!"
"No doubt he came down to deal a blow to some foe," Gust proclaimed with unshakeable conviction. "That he could have fallen by accident is foolish to the extreme!"
"Foolish indeed at even the suggestion! Yet the Prince is gone from here! Could he have been killed?"
"Nonsense!" Gust howled. "Not even a hundred of their ancients might pose a threat to our liege!"
"A hundred!" Crackle thundered at the audacity. "Nay! A hundred could be smote with a single strike! Only a thousand might pose a challenge to the heir of the kingdom! His battle would rock the very heavens and split the earth with his fury! The very evidence we stand within!" Regardless of such an absurd remark, Crackle believed it at once.
"Tragedy!" Gust wailed, his voice keening through the branches. "I shall ensure his attackers pay with their lives, as I sing the songs of his victory to every corner of this globe! For none have such talent in song as the clan of Wind."
"Paltry!" Crackle returned with anger. "Such cowardice I expect from an elemental of mere wind! I shall destroy not only his attackers, but the very Nature Kingdom itself!"
"Pathetic!" Gust returned like a whip. "Is the life of our liege worth only that of a sole kingdom? Foolishness! All the world should pay! No nation shall be spared my fury!"
"Bah! You would leave nations standing? Weak! I shall slay every living being who crawls upon Awe, and build a monument to our fallen lord with their skulls!"
"Does your service hold such insignificant weight? Bah! Exactly like a being of lightning to be so self serving. The world is not enough! For when it lies in ashes, I shall end myself! And in my death throes, play a eulogy with my own essence through the bones of the fallen!"
"Hold!" Crackle cried in sudden amazement. He held his blade aloft. The swirling weapon snapped and glowed with electricity, and in sympathy a faint trail of blue static lit up before them, trailing into the woods.
"Of course!" Gust cried with exultation. "He would not be bested by beings as weak as the Nature Kingdom hold!"
"He must be found!" Crackle declared with a sweep of his blade. "The house of Lightning shall not fail their liege this day!"
"Nor shall Wind, Air Kingdoms staunchest supporters!"
Thus, with increasing declarations of devotions to a king far away, and several lineages long since past, the two air elementals stormed into the woods, following the trail of thinly sparking static.

Vilenteri ran after Prince. Quick as a shadow, the prince moved. And semingly impossible to ever outrun or grow weary and tierd. "Creepy, And overly familiar..." He mutered under his breath.
He drew his blade as he saw the tree-woman after passing a pinetree.

With a small gesture of his free hand he sent a dark tendril from his shadow to try to grab Francis foot and make him fall.

Francis smiled warmly at him. She leapt nimbly over the dark tentacle, dodging around it multiple times as it tried to snare her feet.
