I thought I heard a near-confirmation rumor a while back.

Something about Caster DPS not having a Legendary anymore, also being the next in line for a new one*. And weapon designers not liking daggers.

*Thunderfury/Sulfuron/Atiesh > Warglaives > Thori'dal > Val'anyr > Shadowmourne

Thunderfury was one hell of a tanking weapon in vanilla and even a bit into TBC.

I'd love a staff that you could swap between caster/physical mode... (Anathema/Benediction & Vendorstrike/Vendorstrike style) Not going to happen though I guess. :-/

Or just an agility staff/polearm in general (share with feral dps and hunters then)

What garenzo said though would be awesome, if you could swap between caster/physical it'd give a lot of options for who can use the legendary

edit: to not completely go off topic, I heard the caster staff rumour on mmo champion a while back too, and many in the guild have been talking of it too so that'd be my guess as well.
