"Depends on how much they want the Baron back, I suppose," Sprixx replied. "Of course, if they stop paying, feel free to kill him."
He looked over at the Baron. "Hear that? Maybe we should get you do sign the ransom at some point, eh?"
"You do realize," the Baron replied, "that, at some point, one of my associates will realize that the last place I was headed was here, and they will come looking for me."
Sprixx's fave became a pale green. "Ah copper bits."

Character: Riranthen Firebough
Location: Eversong Woods
Riranthen sighed as he looked onward into the sea of Scourge that still remained in the Ghostlands. At this rate they'd never liberate Tranquillien...
He was just getting ready to plunge into the undead tide when another elf riding a hawkstrider approached him.
"Magister Firebough," the messenger nodded. "Grand Magister Rommath wishes to speak to you. Something about an investigation of Dalaran."
Riranthen nodded and sighed, teleporting to the Grand Magister's chambers in Silvermoon.
"Yes, Grand Magister?" he saluted. "What news have you?"
"Ah, Riranthen, excellent to see you," Rommath nodded. "Reconstruction is going well, but we are still missing a great deal of technology that was destroyed in the attack. I have decided that our best option would be to salvage some of the ruins of Dalaran. I believe you would be the best for the job."
Riranthen wanted to ask why he was the best, but shook his head and remained silent. There was no arguing with the Grand Magister.
"Very well," he nodded. "I shall go immediately."
"Excellent, I look forward to our next meeting," Rommath smiled.
Riranthen nodded and was gone in a flash.

Alnerigo slashed the last troll open, then halted. "There has been a teleportation spell near us." he said. "From the feel I would say High Elf, or perhaps Blood Elf."

Marzegog let an arrow fly, striking a fleeing troll. "Let's check it out." he said thoughtfully. "I would like to speak to another elf again..."

Sprixx left the Baron in Morgan's care again, jumping down to his old home in the back docks of Booty Bay.
Sitting on his doorstep was the bag of gold he'd requested.
Hiding in the shadows were three Booty Bay brusiers.
He snuck up behind them and killed each of them, leaving a note on one that read "don't try it again."
He grabbed the gold and made his way back.

Riranthen smirked hatefully as the few surprised mages that had returned to Dalaran were hit with his firebolts, and he quickly finished most of them off. The others managed to escape, but he didn't care. All he needed was to take the magical equipment so that he could return to purging the Scourge from Quel'thalas.

Riranthen examined a small artifact, once used to gauge the pressure of the flow of magic through a certain piece of equipment. He shrugged and teleported the object back to Silvermoon, looking for more.

"W-What?" Toralyn said, amazed at the offer. He had always wanted to explore, but to go to an entire new continent?
"I'd be delighted if... you know, if you don't mind being near someone as 'lowly' as me," he said, choking out the last bit of the sentence. He knew that he usually kept himself better then this, but he had no other clothes, had been traveling for days, and was exhausted.
"The path as a paladin is a hard one,"
Toralyn thought with a slight sigh.
