If your agi < 600 then go the usualy 41/20 BM spec.

Only thing is that BM is useless on prince later on up the tower because of his shadow nova - IE it is likely that your pet will get wasted pretty quick in that battle.

Still, I used BM in Kara and found it to be pretty cool - I got respecced to the 25 man survival hunter for our guild so, dems the breaks.

There is this pet skill called Avoidance, it has two ranks. If you get this and a few ranks of Shadow Resistance (although this isn't really needed) then your pet can stay in for the whole fight.

Shadow Nova has never ever killed my pet, infernals have--before I decided fire res was worth it for Kara. (more for Nightbane but meh)

Losing your pet to Prince = bad hunter

IMO, Beastmastery is just far and away the best damage spec for a hunter, at least where I am currently in the game (T5). I have yet to meet a MM or Survival hunter that can go toe to toe with the same amount of DPS I can push out. 41/20/0 until someone can consistently beat me on WWS.
