So I can use any other program on my computer while playing wow (not sure about vent yet though, cause I haven't got a chance to use it on my new computer yet) except itunes..
Which when I open it, it will cause wow to lag every second.. like it works for a second, then theres a second of lag, then it works for a second, then stops for a second ect.
And as soon as I close itunes wow starts working perfectly.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong here?
EDIT: I just found out, wow will work perfectly with itunes open. However when I start playing music, it starts the lagging.

That's strange indeed.
I have a 2 months old Windows 7 PC, and often have iTunes in the background with no noticeable change in performance.
Though I've noticed iTunes is more sluggish on a Windows machine than on my Macbook.
Can you confirm that you've isolated the program to iTunes and WoW running in tandem?
Are there any addons you are running which uses iTunes?

I also have a windows 7 about 3 months old. Ive turned on other games with wow, opened the internet and its all good. Then i open itunes.. it starts this lagging and right when I close it it'll stop.
And no, I didnt even know there were addons for itunes lol.
However now that I think about it.. I had a wireless connection for about 2 months, and a couple days ago I installed an ethernet cable in my house (cause the wireless connection was terrible) and ive been using that since then. But itunes and wow would work okay when I had wireless..

I recall an addon which would announce to you the track name and artist at the beginning of a song.
Did you install WoW then iTunes later? Maybe if you reinstall iTunes it may stop lagging?

Are you plying videos or just audio tracks in iTunes? I know for me audio plays fine but if I start watching a video podcast then I have to resize iTunes to about a quarter of my 2nd monitor or it's pointless to try to play WoW.

Yes I installed Wow after itunes, cause when I first bought my computer I didnt have internet for like a month... so I loaded itunes on a flashdrive and transfered it to my new computer. However, I reeeeeally dont want to uninstall itunes though.. especially if i'm not sure it will fix it.
And nope, just music.
However I just found out that if I have itunes open it will work okay. But once I play music, it'll start the lagging..

Usually for Windblows computers, an uninstall -> reinstall is recommended.
But I don't have to tell you that reinstalling iTunes would be better than reinstalling WoW....
I actually have a handful of issues with my iTunes, and I'm going to post them on the iTunes forums. You should probably do the same.
