Christianity is Judaism plus believing that Jesus was the son of god and that you should be nicer to people, that's the basic jist of it. I don't think at any time Jesus said that you could throw out the old testament and believe solely what he says.
Not quite. Christianity is the belief that God wants to have a relationship with you, and that you can only have that relationship through a relationship with Christ. Before Christ came along, the way to have a relationship with God was to follow a long set of very strict laws and customs that were endlessly impractical, impossible to follow precisely, and most importantly: temporary. Christianity is the belief that the Jewish law was an imperfect placeholder for Christ's teachings, until the time of His coming. Once He came, the placeholder was no longer necessary.

So the traditions of one religion are imperfect but yours is perfect.

...I thought that the bible was a book written by man.
You're right. It was written over a span of a few few thousand years by many authors including fisherman to kings.
True enough. My favorite book is Song of Solomon. It's a book written by King Solomon about his 'love' for a girl, and her love for a poor shepard. It truely illustrates the decadence and silver lined lieing tounge of the King. It's a wonderful story of being able to discriminate in what people tell you for truth, as well as true love.

No, according to the Christian religion, the sacrifices and what not no longer need to be done by us.
'cause Jesus said so.
That is
very
different from stating that another religion's traditions are imperfect but ours are perfect.
Don't argue with him. Just ignore the bait. He KNOWS that's not what the guy said.

Someone was WRONG on the internet and I had the knowledge to prove it.
That is not an opportunity I will pass up lightly.
Normally, I would have beat you to the punch, but Laihendi doesn't accept that he could be wrong here. He will not look at logic, because he is 100% sure there is no logic in religions of any kind. So his mind is locked up like a safe without a key, and anything you say will just bounce off.

You people always act like Laihendi is some vicious monster out to get you, but he only uses the devices you give him.

Laihendi: Point A
MyTie: Point B
Laihendi: That still doesn't make Point A any less relevant.
MyTie: Point C
Laihendi: What are you talking about, you still haven't addressed point A
MyTie: Point D
Laihendi: Why do you keep ignoring point A?
MyTie: Ham sandwich
Laihendi: ... silence.... Point A
MyTie: /ignore
That's the skeletal structure of a Laihendi vs MyTie discussion.

You were responding to someone else's post, who was saying something different, but claiming they were saying the same thing.
MyTie's summary of your arguments looks about right, although you aren't the only one who repeats arguments.
Jewish law is imperfect and no longer necessary?
...
Not Jewish law, but the traditions, sacrifices and rituals. Christ said he was the final sacrifice. Christ also said that he upholds the laws.
There he is, saying jewish traditions, sacrifices, and rituals are no longer necessary. Just like Laihendi said he did.

Are you incredibly stupid or do you just really not like being wrong? How is quoting what someone said leading people in circles?
