I'm totally lost - Agi, Hit, Crit, Haste and Mastery...

As a MM specced hunter I really don't understand what I should reforge and what should be the minimum values for certain stuff (haste and mastery, for example). As soon as I am hit-capped, what do I do?
Let's take a specific example: I just purchased
Signet of the Elder Council
that offers Haste and Mastery. Supposing I am hit-capped, what do you suggest? keep these values? Reforge Haste into Crit? Reforge Mastery into Crit? Another example:
Tia's Grace
. Do I keep the Mastery or do I reforge it into... Crit?
In some cases the reforge "debate" is easily solved: a good trinket such as
Fluid Death
is surely amazing... but when you're hit-capped you just need to swap the nice hit bonus to something else (Crit, I suppose).
Also consider the upcoming 4.0.6 patch, what do you suggest?

For some reason it does not correctly link the trinket.

It now appears... doh?

Found this link for you regarding MM hunter
MM hunter
Pretty good article. I was online few mins. ago and people in the guild said the exact opposite: for MM builds mastery is superb, while haste is trash... Doh?

Haste can be a really tough stat to gauge. Femaledwarf does not give accurate values for haste so do not use haste values from there to make any gearing decisions. The only way I know of to get even semi-accurate haste values in Femaledwarf is to manually add very large quantities of haste at a time and record the results.

Best piece I have read on haste was on Warcraft Hunters Union. You want haste up to about 6.4%....enough to get 3 cobras off while waiting on the ES cooldown (this is for SV hunters). Haste after that is pretty much a waste.
Now...in regards to MM....not my area. Never played it, doubt I will.

I still think a lot more research is needed for your little post, judging from your post above.
What makes crit so good for basically every DPS spec right now is that it affects 100% of your damage. Every point that goes into crit will have a DPS increase on every spell you cast/ability you use/all pet abilities on a boss fight.
Mastery for MM, on the other hand, is a chance to proc something on all your ranged attacks. Therefore, it has absolutely zero barring on your PET. Your pet is roughly 13-15% of your damage on any fight as MM/Survival. That is a pretty healthy chunk missing from mastery altogether.
In addition, the mastery isn't a "double shot," as in...it doesn't necessarily do as much damage as the shot that procs it. If a 4k auto-shot procs mastery, you'll get roughly a 4k wild quiver. But if a 20k Chimera Shot procs it...it's still a 4k proc. This significantly devalues mastery. The proc is good, just not amazing.
That's why crit is still > mastery for MM. Crit affects 100% of all your damage. Mastery does not, and the proc isn't the "same" as the 200% bonus boost from crit.

It doesn't work like that. Each stack of Master Marksman reduces the cast of Aimed Shot by 20%. So, 2 stacks is 40%, etc, etc. Just because you have, for instance, 40% haste doesn't mean that a 60% Master Marksman buff would make it insta-cast. It would just be 60% shorter than what it normally would be during your 40% haste buff.

Alright, so I was wrong. I'll leave my post up with an edit that I am so. I was responding to your post without checking my facts...because your post seems to imply exactly what I said.
So, my question is, what the hell were you trying to say then? If it's not instant until 5 stacks (which is true) and the other 4 stacks mean nothing (which is also true)...then?
100% haste, for instance, wouldn't make Aimed Shot instant. It would make it exactly half the cast-time.

Sorry for double posting didn't see this thread.
I'm thinking the priority should be Hit> Agi> Crit> Ma> SP
(Opps but I forgot about Haste.)
75 was enough for Spell Penetration for pvp, is there a new number now?
Does Mastery have a cap or a don't exceed number?
And whats the most amount of Haste on can have ...Haste has a Limit of what now?
